Sad thing of living in the progre era is that, you can't believe that the prizes and recognitions are granted for real merit anymore... not saying he is not good, but he was certainly not the best of all the nominees...

That is so patronising. So just because he’s *not* white, there’s absolutely no way Mawaan earned it of his own right? Did you not hear in his speech he spent 10 years trying to get this show made?! He’s worked hard and he’s clearly funny - the entire room was laughing at his speech. If he’s not to your taste, fair play but you can’t say he’s not as good as the other nominees, comedy is subjective.

Audience laughing at him doesn't mean anything . So what he's waited years? Doesn't mean he's great. There were definitely other nominees way more qualified to win this award. He's good, not great.
