She was literally shaking during her entire speech, which just shows how much the recognition means to her... Well her portrayal as Villanelle is literally the best thing we all have seen on TV. She deserved and will deserve every bit of love and praise coming from all corners. The happiness seen the moment her name was announced within the entire team shows how connected they are. To imagine such a character as Villanelle, as Luke Jennings did in his novels is astonishing. To adapt that, as Phoebe Waller-Bridge did, is amazing. Then, for Jodie to bring the character so remarkably to life is astounding.

She is incredible. The most exciting actor to come out of this country in a long time. Crazy beautiful, massively talented but feet firmly on the ground. Can’t wait to see what she does in the future. Stephen Graham is an absolute diamond too. Well done and congratulations Liverpool!

I was on twitter waiting for the news from fans in the UK coz I’m in the US and can’t stream the BAFTAs (take note BAFTAs). From the moment her named was called to the end of her speech I was tearing with her. I’ve only been a fan of her since KE but when i read her bio, interviews, and watched some of her older projects, I knew this girl came a long freaking way. She is truly gifted in acting and is so hardworking. I haven’t been a hardcore fan of or impressed by an actor in many many years, and she really blew me away with her performance in Killing Eve. It’s been a while since I’ve thought an actor is truly deserving of her award (also Sandra with her awards). Fiona too. Jodie is going to go very far and I’m excited to see what is in store for her. Though I worried that it’ll make meeting her that much more difficult because of her growing popularity! Jodie, if you’re reading this, I am so fucking happy for and proud of you! You deserve every ounce of success that you’ve achieved. KE is truly something special. It’s brought so many wonderful ppl from around the world together because of their mutual fascination with the show and its actors. KE also meant a lot to many ppl personally. I know it did for me. Thank you BAFTAs for recognizing that.

I still remember watching her on My Mad Fat Diary. Her role in Killing Eve was incredible. You can tell the acting is great when she makes you believe she's a psychopath in the show and then is an utter sweetheart in real life.

It is nice to see gifted people rising and receiving huge awards like this.. It is time to pay attention to new, genius and attractive talents like her!!
