I have to say, of all the characters from the 3D Era, Mavado had the most vibe of the time. He looks like a 2000s emo rocker, and that's perfect lol

I like mavado's "executional barrier" means you can spam kameo without him coming out unless you get a hit confirm making him a lot less read heavy unlike most other cameos

Movado has to be 1 of the most frustrating yet rewarding assist characters to use. Its almost like Boon made him this way to get back at the people who laughed at this character back in the day 😂

Definitely recomend you watching ketchup and mustards vid on mavado as one of them practiced him exclusivley with Havik and found some tech with those two that you missed

Seeing Mavado in action has given me hope that MK1 has changed for the better since release.

Li Mei + Mavado is hilarious, you get combos off literally anything, even shit like raw back forward 3 bc of how forgiving Mavado's Nindrop is lmao

YOOOO it's so cool to see you trying Havik-Mavado, i'm a Havik main and i think that they have amazing synergy, plus Havik's extra 100hp neutralize the -100hp from Mavado

The "weird conversions" is definitely what's fun with this. I'm playing around with him with Reiko and I'm getting around 28-30% combos off his stuff that normally send them flying full screen with 1 kameo bar and 30-35% with the full bar. I'm pretty intermediate at the game, but it's like, it lets you convert lots of stuff into very moderate damage combos and that's pretty unique, for sure. And yeah, watching some stuff, he seems to make Havik and Shao into truly scary characters and give a bit of proper mixup game.

Hope you start to play mk 1 more on the channel Max!!

Been nice playing mk1 one again, it didn't grab me at first altho I liked it, but it's been really fun lately. Rain is also sick now I admit that helps lol.

Not just conversions but overall pressure. The most I've ever confirmed the b22 1+3 since launch. Ppl don't know whether they want to block or punish the throw. He gives havik more technical prowess but I still find myself using kano. Unpredictable is havik edge. And kano makes him very chaotic.

Super posted a video yesterday that showed General Shao getting over 500 damage with Mavado. He’s crazy in the right hands and nerfs Raiden even more with that flawless block get-off-me tool.

As an MKDA fan, I would have liked Mavado to be fully playable, but it's great he's even in the game at all.

No lie, that's who I ran with today as well. Havik/ Mavado. I haven't played since Khameleon dropped. Was waiting til Takeda, but recent drops have been good enough to jump back in while I wait fo4 Takeda. Still hoping for 1 v 1 at some point and some other refinements, but steps are being made to revive the game. And that's cool

I love Movado Kameo but man I wish this guy was one of the cast characters. They could of do so many waky things with him.

U can get 52% using fatal blow with mavado without tether...after trap go into down back 1 and fatal blow...the tether scales the combo, and even if u did use tether, after tether restand, instead of using back 22 into fatal blow, use down back 1, enhanced then back 22 into fatal blow...its 3 bars but it works its was easier and better if u dont use tether...ive done alot of testing as a havik main lol

Max if you wanna get REAL insane pick General Shao and Mavado lol. Mavado might actually make Shao one of the highest damage for minimal effort characters in the entire game

Is it weird to say that this video makes me kinda sad? The video is just him over and over realizing how Mavado works and realizes it was none of what he was hoping it would be, it was almost dreadful to a certain degree. It sucks to see Max desperately looking for characters to enjoy in this game but only really finding Peacemaker

No damage? Most characters practically 2 tap with huge combos reaching over 50-60% damage.

What I dislike about MK1 is being shown off perfectly here, besides the lack of optimization that is and crappy lag. The fact you need a Kameo to make characters feel whole.
