Absolutely DISGUSTING. We were battering them at the end of the second half. WHY WOULD YOU DECIDE TO GO AND SIT DEEP IN EXTRA TIME. Quite possibly the WORST tactical decision I've ever seen. I've done nothing but defend this manager, but this was the final straw for me. It's true, just a bottler, what was the plan, to play for pens and leave it to luck? I'm so angry. That game should have been wrapped up easily. Absolutely terrible manager. No wonder he gets sacked everywhere he goes. Get him gone.

When you think of Liverpool, you think of Klopp. The man’s mentality and ambitions run through the whole club. You mate Love him or hate him, but under him Liverpool have outperformed themselves. They Went from a club who had not won the PL in 30 years, to winning the PL, winning the CL and making it to CL final two other times (losing to Real Madrid, the best team in the world). When I look at Chelsea, the club is all over the place. Do the owners have complete trust in the manager? They clearly did not in Tuchel or Potter. Do they trust Poch, if so what’s different? Are these decisions all Poch’s decisions? Where is the mentality of the club coming from? They keep saying we are a young team… they are not THAT young! Sterling, Silva, Chillwell, James… even Caicedo, Enzo and Gallagher are old enough to do better

He’s right though, What do you want him to say? That he would’ve scored Gallagher’s chances? It’s not his fault, We made adaptations in game. We played better after our changes, then Extra Time came. But realistically bro, Extra Time never should’ve happened. Playing Gallagher at AM is like playing Havertz at Striker, It’s obvious that’s not where he belongs.

Yes we played crap during extra time, as has been said, we had chances, in normal time to win it, but as in 90% of games this season, wasted them. Relax brother Alonso isn't klopp they will struggle. If you want to be believe me go and check how many managers they changed after benitez before klopp's arrival. And the beauty is that at that time Chelsea's inexperienced team would have matured and they will be up and running if only they can keep poch to continue moulding this players . I always imagine how dangerous a 27 years old cole palmer would be.

Age group might be similar, but experience and dollar wise, you spent billions. Your midfield is 200mil+. Losers stay losers. Where's Lavia? Spent 50mil to disappear?

There no shame in being beaten by the liverpool first team. They can beat anybody in world football. But to be beaten by the kids, and to give up vs them. Chelsea bring shame upon themselves. Poch isnt a winner.

Our first team when you look at it outside of the money spent is pretty appaling. We have at least 3 positions that need greatly improving in attack. Not so long ago young guys like mudryk, mudueke, Jackson etc would have been put on loan. Hell even Kevin DeBruyne was sent away. Now these guys are key players??! I said at the start of the season to get mourinho in to steady the ship or I'll be happy to finish 8th. We've got a load of 30 million pound players in attack and a rookie gk. I'd rather wait and give Poch a chance to build a squad with more leaders.

We weren’t favourites but we played well overall and the game could’ve gone either way. Liverpool keeper had a great game. Let’s not lose perspective - Liverpool are in better form than us over the course of the season and yet they didn’t win it until the last minutes of the second period of extra time - hardly an example of them battering us or even playing amazingly well as the likes of Jamie Carragher (surprise surprise) would like us to believe.

The angry, disappointed fans blaming Pochettino are like the inexperienced players who point and yell at each other mid game. Poch has had a humbling experience with Tottenham in UCL, which carried over to PSG. He's made great progress with this group though and Chelsea would be foolish to "blame" him. This was a very good game despite poor refereeing, and only the finest of margins with VVD, a dominant header of the ball, on a set piece was the decider. If Chelsea fully continue to support Poch, I see Chelsea only improving (once they get at least one true finisher).

@Insertnamehere287 the assumption you're making is that sitting back was their explicit strategy. In extra time, it is extremely difficult to dictate top-down that kind of decision. If you use all of your subs there are at least half the team that may still be exhausted. This fact makes pressing very difficult to implement. If you go back and watch, notice LFC also does not press nearly as much. At that point, it was like two prize fighters taking bigger, more tired bigger swings with each attack and counter attack. This was my point when I highlighted that it was a set piece and not open play. Don't be fooled by the pundits jumping on the bandwagon talking trash about Chelsea's performance. Those pundits have a product to sell and they're doing it. Chelsea are well behind overall in their program since ownership changed relative to Klopp's well established one (almost 9 years now). The ability for the youth to come in like they did and perform well in extra time reflects that consistency most of all, and if Chelsea act like MU has and continue to waffle when good progress is made, Chelsea will get similar (poor) results.

@871lennon caicedo was a yellow but the ref certainly bit the other direction on Chelsea flopping quite a bit. I would say the same thing JK said in his press conference, that overall the ref was not up to the game but that it didn't benefit either team (i recommend you watch his post match). The disallowed VVD goal was definitely offside due to Endo's clear interference on Colwell. The offside for Chelsea was less obvious but there have been plenty of toenail VAR decisions that haven't sat well with me. I agree with Wenger that the line should be thicker, i.e., more margin of error and give common sense advantage to the attacker.
