There's no need for debate: When Mattias drops a new video = instant thumb's up!
Hey Mattias, I will not talk about your creativity and mastery of composition and the instrument. It's metal meeting Konnakol in its perfection. That is just astonishing. The blues and the legato part in between caught me because of the feeling you can put into it. Also played with perfection. 🎸🤩 No, I'm writing this because you smile, you're humble and you reply to your fans with a heart. In these crazy times you give us more than music, you share a real great personality. Thank you sooooooo much. Stay strong and healthy and share your gift of music. If I can support with dog food (make your dogs part of the next video again) or something, let me know, because you give so much to me watching these videos 🤗
1 year later and it's still amazing! :) We need more of this! Unbelievable!!
Matias is alive! 😀
the Freak Guitar Camp educational songs turn into masterpiece songs lately. I guess IA feels free to do whatever he wants when writing for the camp, and this freedom usually results in the best songs.
Unbelievable as always IA... Thank you for dedicating yourself to your music and your instrument :') love ya bunches
1.9k likes aren't even near enough for this! Come on people!

...and then, when we thought we heard it all, Mattias shows how it's *REALLY* done 👍 We live and learn.
Hey man... You never cease to amaze...! 😮😃👌👍 His Music , at a structural level is worth stopping to study and analyze . 🤔🤯 Thank you very much for your Creativity...! Greetings from Galiza...!
Why a great artist genius as you is not famous throught all mainstream media? this world is crazy, lead us all time into mediocrity.and chaos!
That's what we call creativity at its finest level
So glad I have a new place to go for Yogev Gabay content.
sadguitarguru at his satsang, transcended rhythms, absolutely liberated virtuosity. i may be fanboying a bit, but this feels much more unlocked playing, than any all-chords/arppegios/scales-knowing playing. it's just doing something else to me. pure bliss, huge grin on my face on every song and video from start to end. thank you master c:
Que extraño, un tema largo y complejo pero fácil de escuchar y disfrutar, buenísimo
Such an intricate and mesmerizing piece, you're on a whole other level of guitarists! Greetings from Tunisia ❤
This is one of the most amazing pieces of music I've ever heard.
I just love how this man's brain works! Incredible music as always, sir 🙏🏼❤️
Masterpiece. If only the other 8 billion people on earth knew what they were missing (of course about 6 billion of which wouldn't even begin to understand the difficulty of this, let alone the beauty).

Love guitar, respect his sophistication, know how extremely difficult this is.... But....but....don't you think it's just really for his own and few others pleasure? I don't find nothing wrong with playing anything one wants but this is exactly the reason why I stopped following prog genre and went back to hardcore rock and prog from 70's with strong hooks and more simplistic approach. I want to be able to remember SOMETHING out of the song. But most definitely there's tons of things one can learn from Mattias.
I could listen to this guy playing whole day.
In Addition to your Sound, your music has a pleasant, profound Background! & I can feel that Nobody is telling you what you have to Play!👍👍🎶🎵

Bravo cher Monsieur Eklundh ! More than the modes and their (freaking) use throughout the song, the structure (including its different, themes, parts & developements perfectly brought and connected) is absolutely mind blowing. It is a kind of "modern metal tone poem", as complex and inovative as the Rite of Spring was in its time. A new hybrid metal flagship for sure. Absolutely needed in a music analysis course. Félicitations et merci !!!
Yes! I needed this. You are one of my favorite guitarists, as a musician and as a person. You can see the light shine out of this man. This song is absolutely blowing me away. Also, I want your guitar. Lol.
Mattias “The 8 string Guitar God” returns! So good! Thank you friend! 🤘🏼
Modern classical music. Need to hear this in a big theater, concert hall or something.
This is a very challenging piece to headbang along with
Ooooohh!! I love the switch between brutal riff and beautiful, delicate tonality (besides from the superb craftsmanship) which happens in a blink of an eye!!
Great video IA. Now I can show my friends what I attempted to learn during my week in the Swedish woods.
Oh ye goodness, IA, thank you for being back. You were missed! I am busy sporting my yellow moocow hoodie at the local death metal festival here in Copenhagen this weekend, and people either stare or go "hey cool". I mean, i like 4/4ths sometimes, but it takes all kinds, right? Good to see you, mate, gonna be stoked about that FK album you promised! Loads of viking hugs from Copenhagen!
Well, well...there be that viking dude! Sonic greatness once again my brother :D Cheers from Southern Utah!
Held my attention the entire time (duh). So good as always!
When at 6:40 he started a blues influenced part, I was absolutley amazed. I don't remember the time when I was heard a very well crafted, sophisticated and smart use of the blues sequencies like this, since Jason Becker was worked on his last album with David Lee Roth Mind blowing stuff. 🤘
@1.15 you can clearly see a Line6 Helix! Amazing, original song and a impeccable playing from Mattials IA Eklundh

We all Mattias for all the guitar breakthroughs but I gotta say he drumming is SIC!!! The overall tone of the snare and bass drums then we get all those tasty cymbals that just make it for me. Love you Mattias
This is a space travel into new guitar dimension.Mattias is a true rythm grand master among other incredible skills of musicality and composition. Thank you !
Ah ça y est....j ai pigé...t es le père Noël en fait.merci pour ces cadeaux.
Been a long time since I've listened to IA or Freak Kitchen. I'm also a huge fan of Allan Holdsworth and there were quite a few times throughout the course of this piece of music that was very reminiscent of holdsworth's legato and tone with more gain. Very pleasing to my ear!
The best being the best.

Freakin maestro, one of my guitar heros of all time! Huge love and hugest respect from Japan.
Never disappointing to listen to your stuff, bro. Brain supercharge overload, I'm so mentally exhausted after a session like this because there's so much to take in and I l-o-v-e it!
