At 42 yrs. I thought I'd always be an old maid. Many boyfriends over the years, but it just didn't work out for me. I thought there must be something wrong with me and I'd never be a wife. Left San Diego, CA and moved to Florida. Right before I left I heard God's voice saying "you're going to meet your husband in Florida". It was so clear I actually sat down on my bed stunned!! I thought yeah, right! 10 days after I moved God brought me the man of my dreams. A good Christian man. We married 2 months later. God blessed me, and we've been married 16 years this Sunday. I prayed daily for God to send me someone to cherish, then my now wife showed up with the apartment manager to view the vacant apartment above where I lived. A couple of trips downstairs to borrow sugar etc 😉(slipped a few poems under her door) and we just celebrated our 20th anniversary this past December!!! God is great, all the time! Don't give up on him or love, then when you are least expecting it. He will place a sweet soul in your path and destiny will write the rest of your story! My Andréa is the sweetest most selfless person I have ever met. I can say it proudly, that I have my soul mate, my person, my angel to spend the rest of my days with! You’re absolutely right. I found mine. God led him to me. We met at a church actually. He’s the one for me and I thank God everyday for bringing us together. If anybody out there has lost hope please don’t. The right person is out there for you. I didn’t believe that for a long time but now I do. My boyfriend said he played this song on his way to pick me up for our first date. It will always have a special place in my heart.

Many girls loved me but they also loved the world and i couldn't be with any of them. I want a girl that is trustful and even if God's will is to be with a non believer girl, thats okay. You can never pray too much. And God's timing is always perfect, even though we become weary, thinking He either isn't listening or He's not answering. But He's doing both, just in His time. You say you are not a religious man. I don't believe you need to be a religious fanatic for God to hear you. However, He does long for a personal relationship with us, to take time out of our day to spend with Him and Him only. He wants us to read His word daily. The Bible is known as God's love letters to us. I think that's a beautiful analogy. And, He likes it when we have fellowship with other believers, because its strengthens all of us walking with Him. We learn from one another. And the King James Bible is the very hardest for me to understand. I can only speak from my own experience, but getting a NLT, (New Living Translation) that I was finally able to dig deep into God's Word, and gave me a much better understanding. I began to really thirst to learn more. So maybe, God wants you to develop and deepen a relationship with Him, before He sends the soul mate you're praying for. That will lead you to a good Christian woman, and if you make God the top, front and center of your marriage, its much more likely to work out. God will see to it. But He does desire that relationship with us before anything else. Just some food for thought. May God bless you and answer all your prayers, and one day soon, bring you the love of your life.

Six years I spent single after the end of an abusive relationship with my fiancée. Six years of wondering what I’d done wrong, wondering if I could ever love again, wondering if there was anyone else out there. Six years, some spent in therapy, most spent in a church pew looking at the couples around me getting engaged, married, celebrated as I sat in silence and wondered what was wrong with me. I attempted to end my own life twice through all that. But I still prayed. I prayed for peace. Prayed for love. Prayed the therapy would help ease the pain and the memories and the trauma. Six years waiting, hoping, praying for the right woman. I’m so thankful to say that I’ve finally found her. The road was rough to get here, and there’s still more for me to work through. But she was and is worth every. Single. Second. Every sleepless night, wondering if I’d ever trust again. Wondering if I was worth anything, and if anyone would ever notice me missing if I vanished one day. The depression took such a strong hold. But God brought me out of it, and after six long years, I’m happy to say that my prayers have been answered. And it was worth everything. SHE was worth everything. Most think of a spouse when they hear this song. It makes me think of my children. I had a son at 17. I didn't know it then but he saved me, truly. After multiple pregnancy losses I had a daughter (almost died following child birth) with my husband. We had another pregnancy loss and a week later he deployed. I was devastated. We are now in the process of seeing a fertility specialist in hopes of having a successful and healthy pregnancy. I keep imagining looking down at their little face, who they will be, and the healing my heart will feel. For this child I have prayed.

I am 38 and never imagined I would find my soulmate but that all changed last year. We are now engaged to be married in May of 2023. I prayed for a man like him for so long. He loves me the way I always dreamed of being loved. This song reminds me of him every time I hear it. ❤

This song is very interpretative. I struggle with infertility and i pray everyday for a face ive never seen! Edit* i wrote this comment 2 years ago after getting a other negative test and im happy to say im editing it while feeding my 5 month old son. Psalm 113:9 “He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord!” I went through this season, it was hard BUT GOD will give you the grace you need for this season in your life... FF - now I have children. I will be praying for you and the others.

That song hit me hard! I prayed that there was someone out there for me, she finally found me an it only took 48 years an a trail of mistakes an broken heart. If you trust in God it will happen, just try to be patient. (Thats the hard part).

I never felt so hard in my life the first man I looked up on the dating site Zoosk I love this profile and it was sweet with a sweet smile two dogs had a daughter I've never been married never had kids he was everything I was hoping for a year later I lost $17,000 total he was a money launderer and I didn't even know how badly I was being scammed is it been so hard to stomach so hard to admit to myself how stupid I was and I was really really stupid please be careful on dating websites some people swear by them but I swear you have to be careful I will never go in one again I will continue to pray for my honey I know he's out there and I'm 62 and I'll never give up!

March 24th 2024 she came into my life and forever has changed it! No amount of time is ever needed for true love it just happens and you run with it!! Don't give up hope and faith I'm grateful I didn't!!

I was born in 1992. Wrapped my mind around the idea of praying in 1996. My fiance was born in 2000. I literally prayed for him before he was conceived. Met him in 2021 after a lot of very bad experiences. We're getting married in November 2023 and I want this to be our first dance song. I will pray for him for the rest of our days together. Everything I went through led me to where we are now, but I can't believe I ever settled for anything less. He was a million percent worth the wait.

I walked down the isle to the most perfect man & married him...this was our song. He is in Afghanistan now...I pray for him always ❤

Came across this song by accident the other day and can't stop listening to it . I play it over n over and the tears just keep falling from my eyes... 65 years old and the love of my life (*married just shy of 40 years) gave up on our marriage, walked away and divorced me in November of 2015. It's been nearly 4 years now, and not a day goes by that I don't pray for her...I pray for her to someday come back to me...I pray that God's will is to resurrect our relationship and restore our marriage but also pray that he watches over her and helps her find the happiness & security that she's searching for. Life isn't always as great as we think it's going to be. Losing the love of my life has not only tested my faith but also taken my will to live away... I hope you are doing better. I'm much in the same boat. Just won't divorce me although he treats me like I'm either not there or a burden. I can't leave as I have health problems, so I stay but I'm so very alone. I don't know why he stopped caring. It seems years ago , I didn't leave because of the children. He does love them and they love him. I believe it's my illnesses he couldn't understand or cope with. He could have left me physically but didn't. He just left me emotionally. Still I pray for him and my children. 💔

This may sound weird.... but believe it or not, as early as 9 years old I was praying for my husband. I knew early on I wanted to be a wife one day & I just knew deep down in my heart that God had someone very special for me. My favorite song at 9 years old was God Blessed The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts ❤ At 16 I met my husband to be. We married at 21 & I walked down the aisle to that song. It was a dream come true 😊❤ This song is so beautiful & it truly touches my soul. The first time I heard it, I couldn't help but to think of my incredible husband & cry a little. 🥰 September 23rd will be our 6 year anniversary ❤😊

Far from weird, Laura Cannon!.. I just heard this on the radio TODAY and came home and Googled what I could remember of the lyrics, and found this video.. I'm not much into music videos, I'm old school, and we saw in our own minds what the songs meant to us - sometimes videos take a great deal from what we believe in our hearts is the meaning being expressed by the songwriter.. Videos are made to sell, songs from the heart are made to bless others.. I do have to say, though, this is a nice video for this song.. Happy Anniversary on September 23 with love and blessings for many, many more!.. My Mom will be 80 years old on September 23 and I'm going to surprise her with this song and video.. Everything on the internet amazes her because she's not at all familiar with computers and smart phones - I kinda like that because I get to show her and bless her with a great deal of the good stuff out here!.. Ph D never give up on love. My husband and I didn't meet until I was almost 38. I had been praying and waiting, but when I wasn't thinking about being in a relationship that was when God brought us together and we've rarely been apart since then. It will be 11 years in September we've been together and 9 years married September 13th😊. Things have not been a walk in the park but I'd rather hang on for the ride than be without him. He is my best friend and loves me unconditionally. He tells me all the time how he prayed for someone just like me. That God filled his wish list 😊. I went through a lot of heartbreak and heartache before he came along. But when I found God I realized that I didn't need to be treated like that anymore that I was more important than how I'd been allowing myself to be treated. And when I started being able to be alone and loving myself that was when I met my husband 😀. God bless!

He recently opened up to me about how he knows he can't do it alone, and he needs my help with stuff he's been dealing with. I care about this guy, and this song reminds me to pray for him every day. ❤🙏💕

I have been praying for since 18 until now (25). I am always looking for the day that God will allow us and give the time to meet each other. I'm always and will be praying for you my man. See you when God allows 💕

This song applies to me. Several years before I met my wife, I literally prayed for her. I asked GOD for the specific characteristics in her, including her height. The only thing I didn’t specify was her hair color. Who knows…? Maybe if I had asked for anything different than what her hair color is now, maybe she wouldn’t have shown up. I guess the Holy Spirit was guiding me and telling me to leave that part alone, because He knew the color I had in mind is totally different from the actual. I am blessed beyond words with my wife and best friend. She is my blueprint from GOD Himself.

After 41 years, the right one came along. Funny thing is, I wasn't looking. God works in mysterious ways, especially when you least expect it.

My wife and I used this song during our wedding ceremony. We had my pianist from my church play it on piano and it was beautiful. I prayed for my wife and thank God I have her by my side.
