I love carrie.. her voice is amazing. The way I judge someomes talent is how they sing live.. if they sound the same singing live as they do on their record, then that tells me they are truly talented. Ive seen so many live performances of artists I thought were really good on their album but hearing them live, it sounded like they were struggling to hit certain notes

My husband and I are about to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary on Nov. 8 and although we've never had any major rough patches this song still hits my heart strings. Remember Carrie almost chickened out after she got that ticket, she wasn't thrilled about flying to LA. She was totally shocked by getting that golden ticket.

This song is truly emotional and I love it. My ex and I broke up a month ago. I just saw him the other day after a long time. It’s so hard because he was my first love that I truly loved and cared so much for but he thought we were growing apart so he broke up with me. So this song pretty much tells my feelings that I have for him. I wish it wasn’t this hard but he was my savior after a very toxic relationship. Heard this for the first time over Christmas holiday. Driving the I-5 from L.A. to Bay Area, a Country station was the only one that came in clearly. This came on and I cranked it after the first verse, because I knew it was that kind of song already. So many fantastic songs these days from 'Country' - and I know purists kind of cringe at that term, because they think it's too pop-infused these days - artists. I noticed the songs are usually so well-written, about REAL things and real people. Small town values, being a good dad, being a good man, period. And of course the heart break. There is a story behind the songs. Not just 'let's party' and 'where my bitches at'. Music.

this makes me appreciate the real men out there my 7th grade sweetheart treated me like a friend and a person and he was never mean to me ww always laughed and had fun ..but my lAst relationship i was in was so wrong from tge start and was so toxic and abusive and i have PTSD from it ...i wished my 7th grade sweetheart was sitting here with me so i could talk to him about everything because i know he trully cares and maybe i could unleash all this feelings and be able to go on with my life ❤ DS is the one and only one that i know i could be myself with and the only one i have never quit loving ...he was the best friend and the BEST DADDY to his beautiful girls i have ever seen he is worth it and i hope he knows this i love you

Im giving the blending credit to Carrie. Her voice could have completely swallowed his if she didnt tone down. hes a good country singer, but has virtually no range or ability to hold a note more than 3 seconds. on the other hand carries range is almost unheard of also she holds the record for the longest note along with celene dion, demi, and christina 22 seconds

@@taylerrenee9710 I was actually watching her sing that's where it is which was from some hearts I think it was 13 years ago it said and comparing it to where she is now her voice is actually better because of course she's matured and learned control even more but her confidence as a performer has changed a lot as well as her ability to step it up when needed and step it down when needed. I think she gave it all she could with me to breathe but didn't push as far as she could out of respect also his voice is strong as heck wasn't really a concern there. I know I'll probably get slashed for this but Jason Aldean is not the most talented country singer if we want to just be honest vocal talent he's pretty limited he has a great accent and a very very small range and he doesn't sound bad but he would be super easy to be drowned out. There are other male country singers that I think could hang in with her a little bit better but honestly I freaking love this song It's amazing I've been playing it on a constant loop.

Who's the worst country singer? Kane Brown is a disgrace to country music. 👩‍🦱👩‍🦱👩‍🦱 Kane Brown should be permanently banned from CMA or ACM awards. About 2 years ago, I went to his concert. He sucked ass and left 2 hours early...only played for 30 minutes....everyone was pissed. Not to mention, he wasn't even a country singer who made crappy album he sounded horrible. Kane Brown and Khalid should be permanently banned from CMA. People are tired of seeing his name in country music chart

I thought that this song showed off a very pretty soft tone in her voice. We all know she can belt her ass off. And there were a few little belts but for the most part this was a very soft beautiful version of her voice and it worked perfectly with the song and Jason aldean's limited range
