Colbert loves guests who clearly watch his show on their own time. He can notice the difference in the conversations.😂😂
Ripley his favorite film of his and one of mine. Such classic elegance and stars at their peak.

i was only so-so about Oppenheimer, not sure if i was enjoying it, then Matt Damon's character showed up and i was fully invested from that point on. Great performance.
Oh my God it’s gonna be awesome to see Jimmy and Matt at the Oscars. It’s the most wonderful time of the year at least in my opinion.

Matt Damon is just so good on TV -- smooth, genuine, funny, interesting. Right there in Stephen's league, which is saying a lot!
Matt Damon was the star of that commercial, perfect delivery of the best lines...

I love the fact that Stephen asks if Matt knows famous people. He mentions John & Emily, and his buddy Ben Affleck, but doesn't mention Ben's famous wife. 😁

When I think of Damon and Affleck, I still think of Lewis Black's rant ripping Matt's Earth Day tips where Matt begins "If your house is anything like mine." "I'm gonna stop you right there. It's not. It's a lot smaller. And it doesn't have a Ben Affleck-sized depression in the couch."

My daughters were looking through my yearbook the other day and it's so crazy seeing Matt back then. So young and was even talented back then in the HS plays.

@@brandontedrow7840 yes he did - he played a one-eyed spy - _and_ I believe Peter Jackson did another 'bit' with him when Stephen visited Aotearoa/New Zealand if anything I think this has *increased* not diminished Stephen's passion for all things middle earth

Matt Damon is my favorite actor. This blew my mind when I figured this out, but he's literally in my top 3 or 4 favorite movies and he's the only common denominator between those films, except for 2 of them being directed by Christopher Nolan.

Matt Damon = one of my favorites great actors of this generation. The generation after Al Pacino , Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sly Stallone, Rob DeNiro , Bruce Willices and many others. Matt Damon is at the top of the bunch of greatest actors of this generation. The Bourne sequel 👍👌👏👏👏 , my favorite 👏👏👏. 🕊😝🗽‼️
