In case you're wondering. Bay Cities Deli's Godmother sandwich: Freshly baked crusty bread, four Italian meats (Genoa Salami, Mortadella Cappacola, Ham and Prosciutto) plus Provolone plus “The Works” (mayo, mustard, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, homemade Italian dressing and pickled hot or mild peppers)

For years, I used to work two block from Bay Cities, and we used to go there at least a couple times a week for sandwiches. Their godmother is famous and sells the most, but honestly, all of their sandwiches are amazing! They also bake their own bread, so if you're lucky, you can get your hands on fresh bread warm out of the oven. 😋

Unfortunately, when my parents passed away, I was living abroad, so I had no chance to say goodbye or stay by their side at the end of their lives. But years ago, I had such a powerful dream that I was visiting them at their home, and they embraced me one by one and gave me a kiss. This feeling was so real that I could feel their perfume. Each time that I tried to tell my wife or a friend about it, I missed my voice, and tears started rolling from my eyes, and I gave up to tell it. So I know Matt's feeling. 😢
