Wow, I grew up on Mel. As soon as I could read I noticed his name on all the great cartoons. It's great to hear how he came up with the voices according to the characters. The only comparable actor today is The Simpson's master voice of Hank Azzaria. He is also a wonder of range and sound like Mel. The old cartoons were amazing. The Bugs Bunny Opera is one of the greatest things in Entertainment ever. I've seen it in half a dozen countries as a movie add-on, and every audience in hysterics. Thanks Mel, I hope you knew how loved you were, and still are. it was great finally seeing the man who was the world famous Star everybody knew, but nobody never saw.

Mel Blanc was amazing...irreplacable....one of the best OG voice actors. He could do the voices and sounds with such ease. Noel Blanc was suppose to take over from his father. I think you are right about Hank Azaria...he is amazing also. I would have to put in that list also is Frank Welker and Peter Cullen. They are also two legendary voice actors.
