His recovery really is impressive; definitely has my respect. I've wondered if he has met Gloria Estefan as she is the other celebrity who was supposed to have been killed by a horrible accident but kicked adversity's ass & got right back on their feet. Seems like a natural kinship.

In an attempt to help others after a gnarly snowfall, he's helping clear out what he can. During part of those efforts, the rig started to slide, nearly pinning his nephew between the rig & a truck that they were in the process of towing out. He was attempting to save his nephew from what could have resulted in a death. And, in doing so, he damn near sacrificed his own life. So, I'd wager there was a benevolent act or two, yeah.

This is actually such a moving segment....what happened to Jeremy was just so devastating - even from the perspective of an anonymous film-watching fan - event. My first exposure to him as an actor was 'The Town', and I was taken by his performance. I thought 'this guy's excellent', but I didn't know how much was simply an actor being pretty much himself or a great actor doing great acting. The next milestone performance of his that I saw was 'Wind River', which confirmed for me that here we had a truly great actor with a range of humanity and empathy driving his acting instincts. When you encounter something like this - even from afar as nothing more than a fond admirer - and then you see that actor, that human being go through something like what he went through, it impacts you deeply. I'm moved deeply by this episode and segment. As, again, nothing more than an anonymous fan, I'm so so happy that Jeremy Renner is alive, healthy and back. We're all better with him in the world.

Couldn't be happier to see him back. Prayed for his recovery and was devastated by hearing what he endured. Saw the trailer for his new show earlier in the day. What a blessing that he's still with us in his right mind and in high spirits. That he can never have a bad day again, I mean, what a powerful outlook on life going forward. God blessed him truly, it's a remarkable recovery. I'd love to see him back in an Avengers film, even if he isn't doing much in it. I look forward to giving him a round of applause in the theater when that happens.

You look at physically healthy people today screaming about some *imagined* PTSD as a reason to act like nimrods in public to then look at this guy who has truly valid reasons to have some PTSD but isn't using that excuse to keep from moving forward. Wish more people had the mental fortitude like Jeremy does.
