Really appreciate this discussion. Great to see Matisyahu at The March for Israel yesterday. It was an amazing experience! My daughter said after visiting Israel a year ago that she wanted to maybe live there and I was against it but now.... maybe it's not such a bad idea. She has so many friends at colleges in the US and Canada and every day it seems like she's telling me about a friend of hers who has been threatened or attacked because they are Jewish. Locally a young high school girl at the nearby high school who's Jewish was told to go kill herself and students burned the Israeli flag at the school. It's like some people are filled wtih hate and darkness.

I’m 33 and have listened to matis since I was 15. Never thought I’d ever be able to see him perform live but he came to the vynyl here in Pensacola last year and this year and I was blessed enough to see him a couple weeks ago! Matisyahu Even had his son Levia ( prolly misspelled) perform. It was a life changing show/experience. Seeing Matisyahu’s pure reaction of love and pride watching his 14-16yr old son perform was just amazing! Nothing but pure love and happiness and realness that Matisyahu puts out. If anyone has a chance to see him live, do yourself a favor and go see him perform he’s absolutely amazing. Oh and after they played for 2 hrs everyone was screaming one more song after a few minutes they all came back out and performed a whole other set. Absolutely most inspiring artist to myself anyways I hope someone reads this comment and look up Matisyahu and Brady Wyatt song called ”In My Mind” everyone should be a me to relate. Sorry for Long comment just want people to understand or give him a chance! Do yourself a favor and check him out! 🤙🤙🤙🤙🚀💥

I'm from Poland and half of my life that I grew up there I hid the fact I was a Jew because I was afraid of Antisemites... It was not normal. I couldn't be myself. So I left Poland. I came to the U.S. where I was finally able to be myself and I could learn what it means to be Jew. Now here too we see things are.changing... crazy...

I hear you but the answer isn’t to hide. The opposite is needed. Be loud and proud. Talk to non Jewish friends about the issues.

I was hiding the fact I was Jewish because talking about it and being open would cause the antisemites to beat me up. It was not normal. So I was unfortuntately not able to o open up and be myself.

@39:00 It is not rational, it is spiritual! The father of lies and enemy of our souls deceives humanity through replacement theology, Islam, nationalism, etc... As a Christian few things sadden me as much as the antisemitism that Satan has spread amongst believers. The ones who truly understand the Gospel of Yeshua can only pray for the King to return to Zion 🙌

Often this question comes up, "why do jews think they are the special people, the chosen?" the question is asked without the slightest bit of reflection. Do the Jews think of themselves any more special than any other group of people? i would say no more than any other group. Do the Christians' think themselves special? is it special to suggest that there is no way to salvation except through Christ? The Muslims think themselves so special that if you are an apostate from it, then you are to be killed, that the salvation's riches increase the more infidels you kill. Did, the Romans, the Greeks, the Egyptians, the Sumerians, the Babylonians, think themselves specials? Do the Germans think themselves special? do they not revel in the characterization of a nation, that is highly efficient and highly skilled as well as the descendants of some of the greatest warriors in history? Do the French think themselves special, Oh you should ask a Frenchman, how special he thinks he is. Oh and Americans, we don't need to go into how special we think we are, everyone knows it. There are many nations and all of them have a history from which they derive their particular pride. Yet it is only the Jews that the rest of the nations point too, claiming they have the ultimate hubris, to suggest they are the chosen people. one might ask themselves what they are chosen for. They were the chosen people(nation) to receive the word of the one God, and the message is, that every single human being on earth is made in his image. this message is universal yet given to one group, to spread to the world. So where is this "special" notion arising from? Is it the Jews that make this unreasonable claim? or is it every other nation that disproportionally attaches this libel to the jews? So is it not a reasonable question to single out one group and say why do they think they are so special, when every other nation thinks themselves, so. the better question to ask is why do all the other nations who also think themselves special, single out the Jewish people as some sort of anomaly. Why do all the nations of the world consider the jews as special, that is the better and the more fundamental question to ask.

Love Jewish people but this convo was so shallow, of course we all want peace and love. The fight is against the ideology of Islamic extremists not against the State of Palestine. The IDF is bombing an ideology which will never be successful and only exacerbate the problem. Oct. 7 was an atrocity but so has the Israeli regime and IDF against the people of Palestine. Videos like this further the divide between the sides
