27 ata seems REALLY short considering my current bow is a 31 ATA. Nice to see you covering this, even though I am going to have to ask my mother to save up for Christmas for a trx 36 haha. Just got arrows for my birthday today, but it was pretty nice to be able to fletch them on my own :)

Yes there are some minor updates to this bow but they’re kind of doing the same thing hoyt is doing with passing the same bow with just some minor details I still want to get the V3 because I think it’s a cool bow but it seems like they’re being repetitive

I agree, but I don’t think it’s from a lack on creativity and innovation. The Hoyts and Matthews the past year or 2 have created bows that there is only going to be incremental improvements going forward. The bows are pretty much as good as your gonna get going forward. Bows are just to good now, not much to improve on.

How many pounds you pulling back there on the 27? It looks smooth and easy

Can you PLEASE plead with Mathews to put together a 33-34" TRUE hunting bow for a person with a average DL??? The TRX 34 has really nice specs, but with it in the target bow lineup there are NO camo options and the price is a little bit steep compared to the hunting lineup. Now that the Traverse is gone, there really isn't an option if a person wants to stay with Mathews.

The hunting line with the extended riser holds like a target bow. They are the longest risers they have ever come out with. Even longer ata hunters tend to like them.

@@saxophone_mockingbird6480, I've shot all of these bows. Even though these are neat little bows, they do not hold and aim like a target bow. You can trust me on that statement, as I speak from experience

Yes I know about the mission I have one but they have had the same bows for a few years now with no updates they are getting old that’s why I am switching the bear bows are faster then the mission and shoot better

I'm not against short bows but when I first picked up a 28 I laughed at how comically toy-ish it felt. They're getting crazy small.

I shoot the v3 27 and absolutely love it.

After reading the amount of comments regarding so many people wanting an aluminum colored bow....I think you may see that in the near future. Mathews listens to the customers...

Why. Im more likely to dry fire with a release than I am with Fingers.

PSE has used beyond parallel limbs for years. Still a nice looking bow.
