Good shooting! I think you should switch the rods from the 28 to the 31.5 and then do this same challenge again to see if the longer rods help the 31.5!

Got my 28 in november and like what you said about the stabilizer length being needed for the short axle to axle. Been running an up front 8" but have been wanting a longer one especially past 40 yards so good info.

The Ultra view Aluminum hinges were sold out, so had to order a Brass version, so excited to compare it to my B3 Ghost as far as comfort and in the hand feel... Though I do wish there was a "Beereal" Edition for the Aluminum that came with yellow 3rd finger and yellow thumb peg with a signed by Chris Bee card that I could order for my son who is a huge fan of yours.

@@insurrection600 The B3 Felt like a normal hinge, was fine, nothing fancy but the white powder coat on it. The Ultraview hinge was easier to draw because of the positioning of the post/hook. Both work as they should. I would start someone new to hinge on the Ultra view first though. What I didn't like about the ultra view is no automatic return for the hook. You have to load it everytime.

Love my Halon 32 6 but thinking of upgrading to the VXR this year, but can't decide between the 28 or 31.5. I was thinking the 31.5 was going to come out on top of this challenge, I was surprised. Still leaning towards the 31.5, think you need to redo this challenge, longer ATA bows are suppose to shoot better.....aren't they??? lol Great vids!

Hey Chris, Fun Video Challenge. I noticed a wide variance in your follow-throughs from shot to shot. Both the bow position and trigger hand positions vary on completion of the release from shot to shot. Trying to finish shots with more consistency in form has improved my shooting over the years. Watch the video and you'll see what I mean. Not being critical as you are a good shot - just trying to offer helpful suggestions. Bee Well!

D Loop lengths are totally different. The 31.5 has to be at least 1/4" longer than the one on the 28. This could be enough to cause more float when aiming. I'd measure the actual draw lengths between the bows and set the 31.5 so it close to the length of the 28.

What is your height and draw length? I’m just curious if that is a factor between the two. I’m 6’ 2” & 30 inch draw, I shoot a 35 inch axle to axle bow because of that. Now I have read and seen how the new VXR 31.5’s riser is significantly longer for a “compact” bow than most in the recent year models from any company, but I have shot shorter axle to axle bows with a bit less accuracy while my buddies that are average height get opposite results. With that said each of these bows are extremely accurate and of course it depends on the shooter, we all have our bad days. Quality video/audio and review! Thanks guys!
