    Imperial and metric systems both reference to the same standard, (imperial references kg). A system being more simple doesn't make it more "logical", it makes it more useful in certain situations. Most of life is well suited to imperial measurements, most scientific or precise measurements are better suited to metric. Being able to utilize both systems to their strengths is in no way a handicap.

    Idk why or how Mateusz made it to the top of the algorithm today, but I'm not mad at it at all. I've been getting hammered with MK lifts all day and I love it.

    One of my favorite strongman to watch. He will be WSM someday, if not multiple times. If you haven't heard the recounts of how Louis Cyr did this press you should check it out. These gentlemen are great athletes, but Cyr's lift in his day was off the charts 💪💪

    @@bobmartin8933 exactly what I was thinking. We have mammoth men who train for nothing else and have all the knowledge at their fingertips of how best to lift and body mechanics etc... And some of them struggle to do what the legends are "reported" to have done. I still respect the hell out of the legends, but maybe that's exactly what they are...

    Pudzianowski first - 20 years different : 2000 r. Podzianowski standing, 2020 Kieliszkowski, Pudzianowski win:) Nie ma co porównywać bo Pudzianowski startował 20 lat wcześniej i wtedy były inne treningi, diety, odżywki, wspomagamuania, techniki, ., itd, a nawet dna, ludzie z roku na rok są wyżsi i silniejsi, wtedy był zdecydowanie najlepszy, wynikami teraz Kieliszkowski przebija Pudziana w większości konkurencji , jest bardzo mocny, jak był niedawno Radzikowski, ale to 20 lat różnicy, Pudzianowski był dominatorem :)

    A 60lb dumbbell is a heavy-ass dumbbell. Mateusz just casually lifted nearly quintuple that much with one arm.

    It's actually not that hard. His yeah cause it's a world record. But you should try it in the gym. I got up to 90lbs on my first day but my gym doesn't have higher weight than that

    50 lbs is easier than it seems. The first time I tried it I was able to do 45lbs. 315lbs is still inhuman though!

    I'm pretty sure you are wrong. Cyr dumbbell is treated as different equipment that regular circus dumbbell thus as a separate record. Kieliszkowski holds both the record in Cyr dumbbell at 142 kg and in regular dumbbell at 150 kg. I believe that Savatinov's record was 141 kg.
