i still cant find information on how fast the bike can go if you get all the things that impact speed. like the 750s model. the color display. the perk with the 17.5ah battery. the street tires, removing the limiter. and only using the throttle. i just wish there was more info.

Is this the new mate X? When will they deliver the rest of the orders? I just read their update in saying they moved factories to Taiwan.

Awesome video ! Looks like you had a good workout lifting that bike, haha. I would like to see a video on all aspects of battery charging, including view of battery itself, charging battery in or out of bike, charging cable connector (size and type) , charging port on bike (no plug I notice) to name a few. There are many do's and dont's with charging lithium batteries to get the most out of them, could provide a link to these if available somewhere. Also, I am very interested in the actual range of the battery/bike and how capacity of battery is monitored and how accurate that is. Plenty of suggestions here to keep you busy, no rush, these things take time and I appreciate it. (I doubt whether I will be receiving my bike for a while anyway, haha). Just get out there and enjoy riding your bike and tell us all about it later. Thanks again Sergio.

The iPhone has a QR code reader built right into the camera app. Just open and point it at a Code, then tap the pop up.

Hi Sergio, I would love to know your thoughts on ride quality (is the motor jerky when accelerating or not), build quality and most importantly: battery range with throttle only. Thanks!

Hey man, great video. Quick question, the on/off switch that also controls the assist level placed to the left of the computer (@6:18) display looks cheap AF and different from the pictures in the campaign page and Rachel’s video on FB. Any idea why?

So the controller should be the same across all models, from the cheap AF one to the top one.

You are lucky, mine finally came in but with a broken front fork. My second one is still not delivered. Not sure how Mate is going to handle this issue as their personal customer care service seems non existent far on previous issues. I called their phone but their message was not in English.

You probably haven't been waiting as long, long, long as the rest of us backers.. Still waiting for mine after backing early September last year and may not receive till this August though I really hope before as I need it in time for Burning Man.. Latest is that it will ship late June or possibly July sometime. Though the dates keep shifting

I’m just assuming the USA which maybe I should not be doing....I have been waiting since at least September 2018 myself and you are correct they keep on bumping the date up by 1-3 months at a time. I’m not angry at all just chomping at the bit like everyone else is. And watching Sergio unbox his MATE X beauty is not helping!!! I really do want to get in some Summertime riding but I’m not in control of delivery so I will simply have to wait.....Please post some info when you receive your bike. What color did you get? I got MAD MAX Black. Yes, I just made up the MM part.

@justinspirational, I am somewhat familiar with LA as my father lived in Century City in the Century Bldg for years. Since they built that beautiful building actually. And since they ship to LA first and you still have not received your bike, it sounds like I have a wait of at least a month or two at least to go. 🙄

iPhone’s sure do have QR Scanners. You simply have to download it! There are so many good things about your reviews Sergio but I feel the need to point out some things when I see some inaccuracies. Ok I’ll step down off of my soapbox now.

Thank you! I use a Sony recorder- ICD-UX560. The mic is from iGear Crystal Sound. Bought it on amazon. Cheap but works. I didnt get any perks because I had a strong strong feeling it would delay my order since they would have to assemble it specifically with my additions. I kept it simple and thought I would add any perks later if need be. Maybe thats why I got mine early even though many bought it the same month I did which was in August.

Is this company in trouble? They agreed to refund my money 16 days ago and it has not appeared. I transfer money between two European countries regularly and the longest it has taken is two days but usually takes two hours. As usual they are not responding to emails which has been a problem from the start. I am now left wondering if they have gone bankrupt, have sent the money to the wrong account or if there is some other reason. It certainly doesn't give anyone confidence in a company when it behaves in such a way so I wish I had ignored all the hype about them and bought elsewhere. Any information from ANYONE would be appreciated.

Great video but thumbs down for not speaking up about the endless bs delays and lies the backers are going through while they still receiving new customers etc. not to mention they altered all clients invoices to delete batch numbers expected deliveries etc. other than that seems like a cool bike but I put my money in something different and don’t regret.

But Mate is absolutely the worst experience I had and hundreds on comments on igg still are pouring in from others. Certainly I would be transparent with potential buyers who might see your video and be interested in buying a bike from them. Thanks for your reply mate hope you enjoy your new bike

Which is why I'm doing my best to create these videos. To hopefully answer some questions and simply have more content for everyone interested. I can't speak for them and what's going on over there but I hope they get it right soon and update us all.
