    Each tyre has a cliff which means they lose 8 secs a lap. The hyper soft cliff is 25%, ultra soft 20%, super soft 15%, soft 10%, medium 5%, and hard 0%. It always advisable to avoid the cliff. Also a few races before the end of the season it is good to make risky parts and improve their performance to the max because the top 2 parts for each category get carried over to next season without their risk level

    I recommend starting the Race with the softest Tires available and use the highest Tire and Fuel Settings to overtake as many Drivers as possible or holding your Lead. It dosnt matter if your Tires are maybe overheating and you are maybe at -2 Laps of Fuel at the Time you are at first Place. Beeing stuck in Traffic will cost you way more Time than doing your first Pitstop earlier and/or doing one Stop more. You can hugely extend your Lead once you are in first Place with the same Engine and Tire Modes like the AI because the AI will lose a lot of Time fighting for Positions. Im currently in the WRC with long Races and no Refuel Rules. I have around -1.5 to -2 Laps of Fuel until i got the Lead and can switch to medium Engine Mode and im finishing the Race with around +2 Laps of Fuel most of the Time. And you shouldnt trust your Drivers all the Time with the Gear Ratio but give them one Click more or less Acceleration depending on the Track. For Excample you get Excellent with 31% Gear Ratio on Black Sea but do to the Track Layout you wont have a Chance to overtake other Cars because you dont have enough Acceleration. So you should better use 25% Gear Ratio for a better Chance to overtake even if your Drivers arendt 100% happy with it. The same goes with Tracks like Phoenix where high Speed is King and you maybe need a longer Gear Ratio than your Drivers are happy with. Please dont read further if you dont wanna use Tricks or Bugs or Reloading. One simple Trick to get perfect Setups and high Knowledge the easy Way works as following: - save your Game before the Training - send your Drivers out and get them back in at the same Lap. You wont get verbal Response about if the Gear Ratio or else is to much or not enough but you will get Smilies - change the Setup a bit, send your Drivers out and get them back in the same Lap - repeat until you found the perfect Setups - save the Setups on both Drivers and reload your Savegame from before the Training now you can load your perfect Setups before the Training and you can fokus just on getting Knowledge for Qualifying, Race and Tires.

    Yeah, I usually find using high engine modes and high tyre wear at the back is fruitless, my drivers typically just wallow away at the back unless my car is supremely better than the others, but definitely push harder at the front, I agree there. I never thought about how the set up actually affected the car, I just assumed 100% setups were the best, and the actual sliders didn't matter. Good to know. I also use that trick to bring my drivers in immediately after I send them out, but don't save the set ups and load back. Not sure if I care enough to do that, but it is some good advice.

    13:30 tires are very sensitive to ambient temperatures depending on the properties of your car in tire heating. the working range is the full range of the gauge from top to bottom. your driver will only complain if the indicator reaches the edges of the gauge. performance will only drop if the indicator is on either edge of the display. moving speed of the indicator is related to position and direction on the gauge. it'll be slower towards the edge and faster towards the middle. if you are having trouble getting heat into your tires and getting the distance out of them for example, try balancing the indicator on the lower edge. however, performance drop is lower outside the working range than durability gain from lower push settings. depending on tire manufacturer, type and properties of the car and track. always keep an eye on ambient temps. tire types if chosen by the tire manufacturer suit mid-range temperature at normal(yellow) push. you'll have at least two compounds to choose from. since there are so many factors involved it really comes down to experimentation. track abrasiveness is adding in here.

    Here i am again in my other 2 comments in your 1st video you mention about challenge well the long periods with the more pit stops is even more challenge why?Because you have to choose a strategy especially in the Gt Series. Again my strategy as i mention in my first 2 comment for the Gt series and the F1 always save as (Predator Pre Q for example) when you are in the screen with the setups then hit start get in the track make some rounds hit 100% write down what is the setup then reload give the 100% setup and hit start.(now with the dlc they make the things more easy with the setup to load) If one driver have pre-option for the quali and the other for race never change them don't even think to lose these 10 seconds to swap only if you are to close to max a level 3 race or quali or tyres.Also the driver that is doing the race max the laps 12 laps and at the end overheat and attack (if you have tires or fuel to burn).If you pass the lane and you had left with 10seconds the traits will keep increasing :) The most important you never never change tires in the practice for GT series (especially if you choose top team) you will always use one tire only and try not to burn it (go below 30% in some races like Phoenix it's pretty easy). Another very pro tip when you are inside the race save (Save and Reload again method) the game at the 1st lap after a good start of course and wait until the 2nd lap will finish someone will crash it happens almost every time like in your video at 8:07 with this way i made in one championship just for fun in F1 on opposite driver Wrexler with 0 points HAHAHAHAHA. There is an awesome tip also for the Quali and (how to make a perfect/perfect sliders) it depends a lot on slipstream that the game have and no one never mention this anywhere but this is another long story and difficult to explain because my English is poor.

    Thanks! If you're creating a team, I would say that you can expect to be in last for a while, depending on the series you're racing in. Check your difficulty settings as well, make sure you're on the lowest difficulty to help bring your cars up the grid. Also, if you are still new to the game, you may want to do a playthrough with a higher placed team, and get used to the game before jumping into a created team, which are very difficult to manage and keep alive.

    Cheers dude, I'm on the 3rd season now and I'm a couple of points under 8th (team) and 10 points over 10th atm, I have turned the settings down to easy since they were on medium to help a bit. But my drivers hold around 5th-8th for the first 3 laps then they fall down to 19th and 20th in 1 lap (they are literally overtaken by everyone in around 1/2 a lap, it's like they just slam on the brake even the car is completely fine). On qualifying my guys always get around middle on the best lap times but in the actual race their best lap times are always 2-3 seconds of 18th place? Maybe my game is glitched?

  • @FoxworthTV

    @FoxworthTV

    6 жыл бұрын

    It may have something to do with how hard you push the cars. check the levels of the AI, they typically push really hard throughout the race and at various points. I don't think the game is glitched, If you aren't racing in the ERS, then it will take a lot of seasons to get a decent car, but other than that, you may not have the best drivers or maybe you haven't invested enough into your HQ or car.

Can you please tell me what seems to be the problem? Is it because of my cars are still underpowered? Thank you (you've just earned yourself a sub btw)

  • @FoxworthTV

    @FoxworthTV

    What are your difficulty settings? You may want to turn them down to easiest until you get a hang of the created team stuff. Also Create-A-Team is extremely difficult, while there are ways to artificially boost your chances to win stuff, it will take a few seasons to invest in HQ stuff and really build your car to have a fighting chance Also you said medium ERS? does Medium mean difficulty or Asia-Pacific? If you are in Asia-Pacific series, it will take a long while to build up to being competitive, and I would recommend starting from the lowest tier of any of the three series (SIngle Seater, GT, Endurance). In regard to underpowered car, your most likely issue is either your new staff does not improve stuff quickly or your head designer does not add a lot to the parts he produces, or even the fact your HQ is undeveloped and you can't make higher than Good parts. That is about all the advice I can give from that comment, but feel free to explain more and I will try to help more. And thank you for the sub, hopefully I can get more content out soon!

    18:00 regarding red zone. there are part condition drops every 10% race distance. as long as the part is outside the red zone the parts' condition will drop at a constant rate depending on your push settings. as soon as it enters the red zone there is an rng multiplier applied to the driving style settings meaning condition could drop to 0 at any rng event. however, during the last 10% of the race, part condition won't drop as there are no recalculations.

  • @FoxworthTV

    @FoxworthTV

    Huh, that is great info, I always assumed that the rate of wear was random and but even more so in the red zone. So does that mean if you push half of the 10% chunk, does the car wear at 1.5x the normal wear rate?

  • @carloplattnase8790

    @carloplattnase8790

    look into race analysis. you will find percentages of how much of a lap a driver had applied which push and engine settings. this is what struck me straight away when i had my first couple of races. i believe these percentages are taken into account to determine the exact deterioration. each push setting multiplies with a "standard deterioration." according to a dev on steam discussions, on red zone deterioration draws an additional random multiplier is added. don't ask me for specific numbers. i'm sure you'll find them on steam or The Flaming Red's Blog or using Cheat Engine. i never cared. i keep monitoring part condition and know that depending on race length in the rules i need a certain reliability to race w/o repairs. btw have you ever heard of a game called batracer? it's pretty close to these algorithms. the setup works pretty much the same. however, since it is a browser based game from 2002 it is well protected against reverse engineering. the only way to find out about its' workings was empirical analysis. which happened. and still is fun ;)
