13:55 you don't need to find or scout for a driver...Trust me on that i have over 1000hours in this game and i know every detail. You can earn the trait Pay driver..How??Simple every time you finish a race always save game..!Many times in the game you spending in the empty weeks that you wait for the next race or even in the season that come the 2 of your many drivers generate some traits. Why i am saying save the game?Well you save the game then a trait is coming for your 1st driver for example "feeling blue" or "Cold" shitty traits right?So you reload and spam another trait oooh refocused +1 in all skills,You don't like it?Reload ooooohhh PAY DRIVER?? Same thing goes for dilemmas..Racer trait Wet weather Pro trait time sheet and quali trait Aggresive trait late braker trait. Well waste of time you will say to me but it help me many many times :) and it's my gameplay as always like the football manager and like this game always save and reload if something goes wrong. Pro tip you will find more easy to catch a refocused or renewed passion than the pay driver.It is some times rare and it depends a lot on the % of the sponsor of the driver. In 3 saves i was having Chapman from Steinmann Motorsport one with 857.000 another with 908.000 and the last with 992.000 i had never achieve over a million :(

+Foxworth another thing even more important 1:08 yeah challenge well it's the challenge pack dlc out and it's awesome.The best start for me is the ex-engineer(-1 day) now combine this with karina rider Designer -1 and -2 days for the late game and you will make an awesome team. Feedback and driver improvement and the financial is also shit.You will have so many money after my first comment with the method i mention.Also feedback driver improvement in the late game will not care when the building reach the max level because your drivers will grow faster. If you want to grow them even faster save and reload there is a trait fast learner (improvement rate+5 and it's a lot for 20 weeks) also a dilemma. So ex-engineer if you don't have it in a season in F1 you are able to build average-good-great (x2 times) for both of your cars of all parts until the end of the year. With ex-engineer and not only karina rider there are others with -1 -2 days traits (but you can take her from the start karina rider at F3) you will be able to build average-good-great-epic (x2 times) of all car parts if i remember correct.I haven't play for over 5 months now and i had start play again with the new dlc. I didn't see any huge change in the game the freaking bug on the GT series in Vancouver track still exist (you can't go over 95%~96% if the driver is less than 70kg) soo yeah :) Also 16:56 morale is pretty nice at the beginning if you want to be there so reload if the answer was not correct :) hahahaha :)

In the 1st driver i have a trait Racer +2 in all stats permanent also he have wet weather pro +2 in all stats in wet track.You can't imagine how fast is this driver also he have Pay Driver trait from the 2nd week of the game. In 2nd driver you can see two awesome traits combined Renewed passion +1 and refocused +1 in all stats. In Steinmann Motorsport i was having Chapman with Pay Driver-Wet weather pro-Racer-Timesheet Hero-Renewed Passion-Refocused.

Quick question if you got time. I tried installing the the fantasy fire 19 mod. Everything works except when I install the resource file it crashes. Am I suppose to switch that file or leave it alone.

@@scottanderson2476 there should be a link to the mods discord on the steam workshop page. I don't play with mods because the game is very unstable nowadays, so it is probably best to play vanilla, but the modders on the discord should be able to help you troubleshoot it, but be sure to follow their troubleshooting guide before you bother them, they can get a little mad about it.

Mechanic Kurtz is matched with Claudia Dreyfuss in Octane Racing. Gives a nice lvl 2 bonus, component wear is significantly reduced.

Picked this on sale today, and... I may wind up following your series, just so I've a remote idea WTH is going on, and its... A little frustrating to jump in, new team & go 'Oh, right, so I'm now Hispania racing, no matter what... This sucks' But already, plenty of cool ideas for the next soft reset. Thanks, man!

It is a great game, lot of replayability. And you can always switch teams by applying for a jobs at risk, though I find it most rewarding to take a team from the bottom to the top.

The components you can select come from the designer. If you get a good designer your car will improve more.

I wish I seen these earlier, I'm in my sixth season, have constructed new buildings, new drivers, etc., but still in 9th place in the team standings. I figured that if I don't build anything except a few parts I can get more money at the end of the season. I'm just grinding on. Maybe I just should start over after I watch these videos.

Yeah step 1 is to balance your finances, I suggest build 1 HQ upgrade a season, use votes to get spec parts, then develop 2 parts for each developable parts. Use pay drivers and save save save. Once your finances are under control, you can start spending money on more HQ stuff and extra parts

Yeah, the chassis boost isn't really that great apparently, I believe a few commenters have pointed this out to me over the years. The best bonus is probably one you get from the challenge dlc which allows you to use low risk parts without a risk of rulebreak.

Hey, does my 3 star chassis carry over to next season? If not, whats the point of the first bank? Kinda hard to compete with top 10 even with 3 star but no money for parts

Vinicius Barbosa unfortunately it does not carry over, so that one is more if you wanted to try to come in first in the first season. I think the best overall is the +50 team marketability for the long term, the Challenge Pack DLC also has some interesting choices for investors you can unlock

I accidentally started in GT Championship instead of challenge. I didn't know the difference.... woof

Yeah the reliability, I see the non-spec beginner parts as going to be replaced almost immediately, so improving them feels like a wasted effort, whereas getting spec part reliability up is useful since those parts will be used all season. Yeah 80% reliability should be good nine times out of ten during a race, but it doesn't hurt.

Did you create a team or start with a premade one? Premade teams spread out chairman payments throughout the season whereas created teams give you the season budget up front

10 year old game. as far as i know it was successful. made money. yet they never even seemed to talk about doing a 2.0 version sadly...... frontier made their attempts... utter trash. looks amazing but has no quality gameplay. and yes i know motorsport manager has phone app version. its ok. but its so dumbed down not the same thing.

Agreed, I bought the first F1 Manager and it lacked the depth of MM somehow after how many years? And yeah, the mobile apps are fun, but not in depth enough. F1 Manager 24 seems like a step up, but definitely waiting for reviews before purchasing, I skipped 23 completely. MM devs always talk about MM 2 for PC, so I hold out hope it will come back one day!
