Thanks as this was much needed info! Been agonizing with my decision and finally narrowed it down to two, Quincy(3.5hp, 60 gal) and Puma (5hp, 60gal) which was a late entry as I wasn't familiar with the name (sneakers first came to mind). Can't go wrong with either one but I went the puma and your video provided more peace of mind with my decison. Also with the Puma, I get a better price more hp and CFM as well as the included lift gate with delivery the Puma. Appreciate a good, honest, down to earth review.

Definitely something that's in the future but I recently bought a decent HF compressor as a stop gap until I decide exactly where the big compressor will live. Shop air is a must have.

Thanks for watching and sharing brother. If we didn't have this big project with the Mustang, we would have continued to use our old 26 gallon one. I have been putting this purchase off for a while but couldn't do it any longer. Lol.

Did you get the extended warranty (Guardsman extended protection) offered through air compressors direct? Wondering if it's worth it and really couldn't find any reviews for Guardsman.

Great question Jim. I did buy it because I felt it was best to have it for the offering price compared to having to purchase a new one if something went wrong. Whether it's worth it or not, that I can't quite answer and to be honest, I hope that I won't have a reason to over the next 2 years. LOL.

Hi Camaro. Thanks for watching and asking. We appreciate it. This is a tough question because it can be a matter or perception, how and where it's installed, etc. I can tell you that it's quieter than our old 25 gallon which was very loud. I don't mind it a when it runs. Cheers!
