They buffed him a lot. Now he's really overpowered. The omni-bow can kill most front-line enemies in 1-2 hits.

With a sniper, this guy is an animal! I use the omni-bow as a secondary weapon and his trip mines to help establish a perimeter.

One of my favorite classes, the omni-bow is so awesome!

i agree. putting all into melee and power damage (melee before power=shotgun with omni) a armor piercing omni bow attack can almost one shot a ravager, it can with consumable strength equipment

The Amour Piercing arrows I use every time, I've gone 3 missions of a full 11 waves against the Collectors with hardly firing a shot from my guns. I completely decimate Scions and Pratoreions (sorry for spelling) which I used to fear using a normal Solider, I don't even need my rocket launcher anymore. The mines add a sense of thought and strategy with is great. It's so fun killing these big opponents with a tiny bow while my allies are giving them everything with their guns. Glad I starting using the character :-)

Some things to know since this video was made; an update made the arrows, particularly the armor piercing ones, about as OP as possible. Doing massive damage on boss enemies even on Gold and Platinum. However, weapon weight does affect how often your mines/arrows regenerate. So, no. You don't want to go crazy with your weapons on him. And, spec into melee damage all the way. Including mods on your weapons. It will boost your damage even more so.

The best character in mass effect 3, I highly recommend this guy, believe me.

Put the lowest weight shotgun with melee upgrade mod and upgrade arrow piercing to max damage and max upgrade cain trip mine to damage. full upgrade omni bow damage and have fun with this godly class of destruction. (if your under pressure by the enemies spam your cain trip mines. 3 trip mine allowed to spawn after that the first trip will explode doing the damage to any near by enemy)

Mine glitched and I have all the powers maxed, it says I have -21 points. I named him Salon Mercenary.

Maxing out omni bow abilities makes this character a beast for weaker enemies and given enough points I to armor piercing arrows it can be good for bosses too.

Hi, id just like to add to the video that he is affected by cool down weight. His grenade recharge rate is affected by his weapon weight. Not a problem if you think you can scavenge grenades enough, but heavy weapons can increase the time by 10-20 seconds for the grenade recharge

if you do a mission where its required to use a helmet because of hazards, and you bring zaeed, thats basically what it looks like when his helmet is on, except his lights are red. the other difference is that zaeed had a larger shoulder piee on his right arm and some paint decals.

Armour Arrows > Concussive It can kill Dragoons in one hit. Armour is always more important to take down than shields.

In my personal experience and opinion, I never invested points in the Trip-Mine, and loaded all of it into the bows, and I had loads of fun! He is my favourite, and best class I ever played.

after his massive buff, grenade recharge speed is much faster, ~15-16seconds at ~+150% CD Also, for Cain trip mines you prob know this already, Cain mines are capped at 3. Firing a 4th mines will detonate the 1st one, allowing "command detonation" but at the cost of firing 4 grenades

small note, his grenade recharge speed is depends on weapon weight.

I did. And I painted him blue and white, so I can LARP as Zaeed back when he was in charge of the Blue Suns. I also gave him the Avenger assault rifle so that he can have his Jessie in battle.

One other thing about the Omni-Bow: Quick melee releases a spread of arrows. Heavy melee is what leads to the lockon.

You're right that he's squishy, but with melee maxed his bow can one shot base enemies (cannibals, geth troopers, and cannibals) two shot shielded opponents, and with armor piercing arrows he can 3 shot boss enemies who are down to armor only (excluding the atlas and banshees since atlas' are stronger and the banshee can block powers).

You know... after ME3 multiplayer, character customization would have to be insane to top all the abilities, omni-tool variants, and alien races.

nice build! totally agree with you about cain mine, but i totally exluded from my build concussive shot, preferring armor piercing arrows (making a 6/0/6/6/6 pratically)

Saw a guy absolutely tear up platinum with this class, so yeah I think they buffed him.

I didn't think power recharge mattered... but i didn't realise hrs regenerates charges/grenades.

Nice guide. But is it worth it to take both special arrows to get both debuffs and sacrifice points in passives?

when firing the 4th mine the first mine will detonate, but this detonation deals no damage to enemies last I checked, so it merely wastes that first mine.

The new update improved the mines as well. Basically, they made this character a lot more powerful.

I got lucky with Zaeed (Talon Merc is clearly Zaeed). It glitched and gave me more than enough points to level everything to max.

Maxing out Omnibow will give you a 125/150% buff on the thing. Since it fires pretty fast and doesn't use ammo it's great for weaker enemies. use the Cain Trip mines for boss types. Shooting enemies with guns is not the way to go with this toon.. he has other talents.

I love the talon merc his Ommini bow is amazing

try the alliance infiltration unit she has a shotgun damage bonus and is a really good class

Don't know if you figured it out, but if you delete the dlc he's associated with then promote, then download again he keeps his build :😃

talon mercenary. just get max granades from both bow abilities and radius+armor dmg for mines. Then just spam.

Is anyone else getting a hell lot of of ultra-rare weapons because every pack I have opened out the rectuit or premium spectre pack always comes with at least one Ultra-rare weapon. This has happened about 5 times

So disappointed... when I saw this guy I thought he was going to have some sort of futuristic bow on his back (Like Crysis 3) that he would use, not some dumb omni-tool shaped like a crossbow...
