I think it's great that these videos, which are nearly 10 years old now, are still relevant because ME3 MP is still popular as heck! never had to wait more than ten minutes for a game at a slow night time. And I just unlocked this class... hehehe

Few years late so this is probably common knowledge to people who are still playing this game but there are two useful tips to mention: 1. The Krogan Charge (your heavy melee while sprinting) has a number of unique properties that set it apart from regular Krogans. It has an area of effect arc to it that can hit other nearby targets, not just the one you aim at. And, this is the really important one, *it allows you to get into Blood Rage with one melee kill without taking Pure Rage in the Warlord Rage tree*. This is immensely important for players like me who favour the extra melee damage from rank 4 and durability/health regen from rank 6. 2. vs. Reapers and Collectors, you will have a pretty hard time. Brutes, Banshees and Praetorians can maul you to death quite easily. That said, there is one trick to getting around it though. *Enemies cannot sync kill you on a slope of sufficiently steep angle*. Most ramps and staircases will work, so long as you're on the slope. Banshes will just Reave and swipe at you ineffectually as you mash their faces in with Biotic Hammer. Learning proper positioning will help you be a much better KroLord player and allow you to still contribute your massive damage output on those particular bosses.

Skeleton-chan to add on to this if you play with any friends who enjoy playing the geth Juggernaut it would be smart to hang around them when playing on platinum difficulty as they cannot be executed and their heavy melee allows them to pretty much ignore damage and pull agro as you destroy banshee and brutes without fear of being executed instantly

You can also use the headbutt to dodge and make him move faster during the pizza delivery objective.

@netherremains they're the same on pc too. Just hold down sprint for a second to start running while looking at the floor, then just start spamming the sprint button to repeatedly pickup and drop the object

My build on this guy is quite different. I never put any points in Biotic Hammer and set the Electric Hammer up to do Damage in radius. Add to this the ability to get major health regen bonuses when in Rage Mode, and this character becomes a beast. I use the Fire electric hammer, as the fire will hurt or often kill enemies not killed by the initial hit.

they should have kept the old krogan warlord armor

To this day, I still find it bs that a phantoms tiny sword can instakill a krogan WARLORD. he is 5x bigger and has double the number of organs. It should not be possible.

Instant death in the _Mass Effect 3_ multiplayer is one of the games few weaknesses. It's cheap and bollocks.

The Juggernaut can regenerate it's shields as well (melee and Geth Turret), with that considered I would almost put them at complete equals, however, I give the edge to the Juggernaut as it is unable to be insta-killed.

Loved playing as the Krogan Warlord. I just went into battle with my Geth Pulse Rifle alone, but rarely used it as I played as the teams tank. Run into the heart of the enemy, and tear them apart. Only really need to use your gun against certain enemies that are capable of one hit kills.

OMG, I didn't know about the 3 hit combo!!! :O

I named my Warlord Big Red. He's so strong I love it.

Oh Yes good ol Tech Armor, remember fellow N7 if you come up any Marauders detonate your tech armor. Surround by husks, Tech Armor, rachni swarmers, Tech Armor. LOL

Great Video! Although, not all sentinels have tech armor.

Interesting build. I actually chose to ignore Biotic Hammer, allowing me to max out all other skills. I found I was using the Electric Hammer a lot more than I was the Biotic, and I liked having the ability to build everything else up, especially since you cannot take cover.

It's a very good video, the only criticism i would give is that you need to give more importance to the passive that let's you go into rage after 1 kill, it's very important in the higher difficulties

Also, have you noticed you only need to kill one target with his charge attack to activate Rage?

Better +30/+30(and rage) melee damage than just 30 melee damage also the bonus to health and shields is higher at the lvl 6 skill. In my opinion

Great vid. I would add one VERY important thing though. Weapons on him do matter. Always carry a sidearm with AP or AP ammo. If you don't then you'll find yourself in a world of hurt when Guardians show up. I know it shouldn't have to be said... but I still see people play this character with no AP and find themselves run away from a fight.

I'm thinking of coming back to ME Multiplayer... i stopped playing it before this update that brought this character... i might have left 2 updates before. Man, i missed so much!

I'm really lucky got the trilogy on my pc had me3 on my old 360 and I've just completed the whole trilogy and in my complementary packs I got the warlord :) great start to my multiplayer career

Is your melee damage the same if you have a shotgun and pistol with the melee mods? Or do they stack?

Hey let me say thanks for the guide its a bit different then what i use because i have only started singleplayer recently so nobody is online then but i can compleet all bronze challenges and sometimes silver challenges i started with a human soldier but it is much to hard if you can't get health regen abilities so if you are thinking of playing multiplayer now get a krogan warlord it will save you so many times

i was trying to get to the actual abilities guide but i keep skipping to short and i keep hearing him say charges until i got it

What I don't get is, why did you put 3 ranks into the weapon/weight-path instead of maxing tech armor? Rank 6 Tech armor can decrease your penalty by 30% while rank 3 in WW path only decreases it by 20% or am I wrong? Or you could go on WW path for rank 4, which would decrease weight in total for 50 (= +50% reload speed)

i use the hammer with the max number of charges on both hammers and it feels a lot more useful because biotic hammer electrical hammer is for weaker enemies and will kill almost any boss with 2 hits or 2 melee combos

I only play gold or platinum. I find you could get away without even using charges lol. If I see a boss i'll activate biotic charge and go to work. All other opponents, charges are overkill. Also I only invested in biotic charge leaving tech blank. This allowed me to go all damage protection in tech armor and all melee in the melee tree. 2 biotic charges seems unnecessary.

I saw this character in my second or third match ever in multilplayer and wanted to have it so bad! I finally got it and it's sooooo much fun!!!!!!!! Best character to steal kills!!!!!! LOL only wish those damn praetorian wouln't instakill me every single time!

With geths this character is very nice. But what about collectors or reapers who can kill you in melee when revive its not possible?

electric hammer just isent worth it. just bring a light shotgun like the diciple with the lvl 5 omni blade (if you dont have it i recomend the pistol melee stunner and power amp) and hydraulic joints. build biotic hammer for damage and 2 charges. as well as building rage for all damage. with my build ill take about 7 bars of armor off a geth prime with 1 hammer. 6 if you dont use the strength enhancer 3. i can also 1 shot any non boss enemy in the game. even pyros.

Activate shield and go around smashing stuff = win

I just started ME3 multiplayer. Don't even have a lvl 20 char yet. Bought a few recruit packs and just one veteran pack. Somehow got this guy unlocked, despite it being Rare. Is it normal?

With the latest dlc pack, (Retaliation, i think), you automatically unlock one of the special characters from that dlc via a gift pack that is given to you at start. The Warlord is one of those characters. You can see the other characters by scrolling to the end of each class list. You'll notice the Warlord is at the end of the Sentinel class.

I don't even use Electrical Hammer it's useless. Here's my build. Darcblad pretty much touched on everything else I would have. www.code-rage.com/narida/#Sentinel/KroganWarlord/RNAPP/Talon5AG5BP5/Falcon10BD5AE5///JuggernautShield5/ You will be a tank with this build. Basic strategy is to use heavy charge melee on smaller mooks like Cannibals, Assault Troopers. You will use your Biotic Hammer on mid tiers like Centurions, Collector Captains, Dragoons. Also you will want to use a Falcon so you can stun Phantoms and not get sync killed. Lastly you will use Biotic Hammers 3 hit combo on bosses like Brutes, Primes, Scions. Don't ever go near an Banshee, Atlas or a Praetorian if you've drawn aggro. Keep your distance their sync is a lot more deadlier then a Brutes or Scions and can't kill them as quick. If you don't have aggro and the bosses have no barriers or shields and a few ticks of armor gone, you can usually get through 1 combo which might be enough to finish off a Banshee, Atlas or Praetorian who can and will sync kill you. That's it! This is an easy class to play really. They have so much health and barriers and regen especially when raging you can tank indefinitely on gold with even just level 1 consumables. All you really have to do is watch out for bosses and don't get caught out in the open to long.

Geez, take longer breaths between sentences. And not all Sentinel have Tech Armor; the Batarian Sentinel has Blade Armor, and the N7 Paladin, Vorcha Sentinel and Volus Mercenary don't have armour at all.
