I like how they straight up tell you to gain their loyalty/trust otherwise they will die. Seems like a common throw away line, but in this game it’s no joke.

Grunt and thane are actually the ideal squad mates against the collectors in game: concussive shot, warp, incendiary ammo and throw. Those are ideal against barrier and armor(collectors don’t have shield). The attention to detail is astounding

I went with Garrus and Grunt. Grunt draws attention and Garrus and I take them out from afar. I played as an Infiltrator so that influences the play style.

@@VoidmasterCZ I always save Kaiden cause my shepherd always assumes that Ashley could get herself and her team out without my help. Kaiden, being Kaiden, and being alone meant that he needed back up. Only saved Ashley once, and that's cause my shepherd was romancing her at the time and was willing to sacrifice Kaiden to ensure her survival.

Seeing this still gives me goose bumps. I was part of the original testing team for ME2 and ME3, what a ride!!!!!

ME1 is good but the Mako is a deal breaker. The mako makes me not want to replay the game. I'm the kind of guy who likes to get 100% or as close to it. I manage to reach my Shepard to Level 50 in my first playthrough because I explored most planets to get the minerals. After beating the game I'm hesitant to play it again because I got tired of driving that mako. The RPG element of handling the equipments is also a minus for me. I had to constantly sell duplicates because I had too many and it became rather tedious.

Mass effect 2 had bigger budget so they improved it in every aspect. It's like shiny mass effect 1. Though story telling is awesome in both when comparing. Those two games made me mass effect fan. As said somewhere in comment section ME3 was good to the point where Illusive man died. The rest felt like "hey guyz eh... so we ended up with no money after that chees cake eat-them-all challange so rush the end PLS". Citadel DLC felt like ME2 for me. Got all nostalgic and tears if you ask me.

I wish the much hyped suicide mission was actually suicidal -- making it truly difficult to have every companion survive would've made ME2's climax hit much harder. Beyond that, ME2 was a dramatic upgrade on ME1.

End of 2015, still watching this trailer and playing this game.

They REALLY need a home run game.. and since theyve been working on this for over 2.5 years now.. i think we're gonna get a fully Modernized ME1 in terms of Combat Mechanics and graphics, and for ME2/3 we're just gonna get better Graphics

I really like how they show them getting shot and their shields working. Too many times we've seen games where the player characters have shields of sorts but they never even get used in the trailer. If they have body armor instead, even that won't get hit once lol.

It's 2020 and I'm wating for the reveal of the ME Remaster Trilogy. I cannot believe how good that looked 10 years ago.

7 years of this Masterpiece ! Gonna play it again and again.

I remember watching this on the school computer in the library during lunch and i could not contain my excitement. After the mind blowing story of ME1 oh gaaaawd was i hype for 2. Bouncing in my seat at school and it did nooooot disappoint. Here i am 10 years later still blown away by this trailer.

One of my favorite game trailers. One of my favorite games. I enjoyed every minute of this masterpiece.

Every one here be talking about thane but is no one gonna acknowledge the fact grunt got eaten by a thresher maw, blew its head off and while covered in its guts walked off like it was a average Monday morning

Remember how exciting it was to be a Mass Effect fan around this time? Great memories.

You know what I wanted? For some loyalty missions not to play as Shepard but as the companion, to see what everyone else in the galaxy sees when they see Shepard in action. Like for grunt, Shepard could be unleashed crazy biotic powers or dual wielding guns. Or for Samara she could see Shepard smoothly glide across the club, getting everyone's approval. Maybe for Kasumi you could see him wine and dinning villains while taking there money. I don't know, I just kinda wanna see the legendary commander Shepard through someone else's eyes.

Thane and Shepherd are moving tactically moving from cover to cover and grunt is just walking in the open eating shots

Still remains one of the best game trailers out there - intense and enthralling. And we know the game itself exceeded all expectations. Oh those impossible choices at the end....

The Narrator's eyes show that he is more than he seems. Someone who unlike others can be both your best friend and worst enemy at the same time.

Anyone else kinda tripped up seeing the Collector base at the colony?

I recently bought the Legendary edition after not having played it in over 5+ years and it still is my favourite single player game I've ever experienced. It's amazing how well ME1-3 holds up.

Ahhhh 10 years ago... I was only like 10-11 (i know... Maybe not the proper age to be playing this type of stuff) and my brother bought this game. I was aware of the first entry, but never played it and somehow tried this baby and let me just say that this is my favorite game of all time til this very day. Now, with the legendary edition, its a blast to play this Masterpiece again.

This episode was the best of the Mass Effect trilogy. Story, gameplay, decisions gave us a very good mixture. So if I speak about Mass Effect I always mean the ME2.:) I hope the Andromeda will return to the spirit of Mass Effect 2.

Ah recommended 10 years later, much useful.

Top of my list of games I wish I can experience all over again. Amazing trip, characters, and scenery. Absolutely love this game!

I have to be honest. First time I played this game and it stands with few in the leauge of best video games of all time. Probably in the top 10 and in the top 3 for rpgs. Gonna finish 3 now and then replay them again and then go on to the remaster.

They can even surpass these decade old cinematics. Modern real time RT games like Cyberpunk, Metro exodus, Control, Spider man for example. Even non RT games like RDR2, God of war, FF7 remake look better. Unfortunately EA isn't that committed. See how low effort the remaster is. Shameful.

@@thegreatpineapple4425 ME1 was hugely improved without even doing a full remake(EA would never approve doing a remake cmon now). ME2 and ME3 look perfectly fine with some updated textures and lighting. Not shameful at all, I'm glad Bioware was able to to do this for the fans.

This game is too amazing I just cannot help getting back！

To this day. This is the best game series I've gone thru. Even me3, some people hated the ending. I accepted that even in life we don't get the ideal outcome. But it was the best option. (For me merging synthetic and organic)
