+Orissan the Graphics in a CGI movie have nothing to do with how a Movie could turn out..Look at Toy Story 1 for example, the CG looks weird by todays standards, but no one cares cause it had a good story. But personally i enjoy the stories Blizzard tells more.

2:10 Archon destroyed Ultralisk's tuskblade with psionic handchop. Which is with Terran's technology, it is almost impossible to break. Thus handchop of Archon possess more forces and firepower compared to most Terran's arsenals.

Archon merging and to say "Power Overhelming" was the greatest moment in SC cinematic history.

I've played games for over 30 years, and no game cinematic has even given me the chills and emotions like this one. Especially when two high templars merged and when the pylon finally finished warping in.

+LolyourDead100 They are definitely a smaller population than terrans and CERTAINLY a smaller population than the zerg, but they are not close to few in numbers at this point. Think about one of the teasers, where thousands of protoss waited on ONE mothership (I'm well aware that mothership is the leading one and is known as the Shield of Aiur, but still). And how many more motherships would they have brought to take Aiur back. 10? 20? Hundreds? Thousands? And also think about how massive the Golden Armada (the fleet that is invading Aiur to reclaim it) is. Not only does it consist of several years' worth of gathering protoss, but it also consists of the most powerful protoss in their race. Proof of this is in HoTS, where on Kaldir Kerrigan refuses to let the Protoss warn the Golden Armada of Kerrigan's attack, even after she conquered both Char and Zerus, and even reclaimed her title as the Queen of Blades. This shows that the Golden Armada could easily wipe out the Zerg, given that they wanted to. And, back to my original point, Think about how many Protoss are in ALL the other factions. The one shown here is only one faction. Overall, the Protoss are in the billions, most likely, with their numbers. 10,000 zealots is probably what they eventually warped onto the planet, if not more.

That scene when the Ultralisk emerges from the ground. The music, the look on the templars faces - it just personified the struggle the Protoss went through against the Zerg.

This is so well made. Still makes me come back and rewatch it in 2021.

Starcraft is a popular game too, not as much as Warcraft but still a popular game. Also, it's easier to understand starcraft. WC have a lot and i mean A LOT of civilizations. Also, there have been a lot of movies like SC that have been successful. Have you ever seen Starship Troopers? it's like SC but without protoss.

This never gets old.

This is one of the greatest cinematic gaming scenes of all time.

The one-eyed zealot takes off late and when the zealot leg speed upgrade kicks in and sends him to the front, it just feels so epic

2kaioken Well the warcraft movie looks good and seem to have a lot of positive response, which would mean they would make good profit, which also means a higher chance of them making another movie. Not only that, but the warcraft movie already had over 100 million dollar budget.

If I were any of those zealots heck yeah I would protect the lil probe. When the dude can spawn pylons that can teleport an entire army he is kinda important.

+Zeratul i dont think collosus is a good counter against ultras. they are heavy armored units. not saying they are bad, just dont have really an advantage.of course if both are on the same level, if the colossus is above or below(unreachable, or at least hard to reach) then yes its not really a problem. for ultras you really want air units, if possible void rays or tempests.. now those things eat ultras for breakfast.

+Zeratul i dont think you can kite ultras well with colossus, they have some delay before firing... not saying its impossible, just that it need to be really carefull, besides, ultras are faster than colossus, both in aspd, and walking speed, and thats not even taking into acount creep. again, not saying its impossible to do, just that there are better units to do it.

Legendary, played StarCraft 20 years ago but still touching me every time when watchin the video.

One of the greatest cinematics of all time. No, really - _all time._

The reason why this Cinematic is so amazing and emotional for Star craft players is because we understand this whole fight scene . We see a single probe warp in a pylon at the start of the fight . We see a Templar use storm on some lings but the storm specifically targets the Lings .( instead of just a big area of storm) Then we see the same Templar merge with a wounded Templar and form an archon then. We see a zealot use it’s shield to absorb one hit from the baneling but zealots can’t take another hit without recharging its shield so the zealot falls . All this while at exactly 90 seconds the pylon warps in and every Protoss player knows that they can warp in gateway units with a pylon . So while this cinematic is amazing watch without having any of this knowledge . To a Star craft fan this cinematic let’s us see the game in a whole new way we’ve only seen in our imaginations.

SC player from day 1. I buy everything. Yes and masters league level. It shows all of the perk for a player to achieve what you need. This trailer is beyond amazing for Protoss players.

+Jmagnum8989 Well yeah, the Zerg which conquered Aiur didn't have Roaches in their Broods in that era. Roaches were assimilated during the Queen of Blade's rise to power & return. The banelings are evolved from zerlings, so it's reasonable to assume they came about naturally over time, despite not being apart of the Overmind's invasion forces. So fortunately, that's not a (big) retcon.

It's that time of the year when you rewatch all the Blizz cinematics since WC3. Again... Surely not the last time either :p

Best SC2 cinematic ever. Which seems impossible, because they've all been awesome. The final scene hits me in the feels every time.
