    Imo black people age much better than most races. Better skin, teeth, everything really. I'm sticking my neck out by saying this but I feel thr big part of the reason there is racial hatred toward black people is purely out of jealousy.

    MrPewack38 Thats only a minority of people though, the horrible people in society and the instigator elitists who have crafted and created negativeness to divide and conquer. Real nice, genuine people don’t see through the eyes of hate or judge a person by their appearance. You judge people as individuals, not race. Unfortunately though, there will never be peace so long as the evil forces stay in power and keep manipulating mankind through mainstream media etc etc. Peace and love to all x

    When he retired, he stayed retired. In 1989, he was offered 15 million to make a comeback, it did not even come close to changing his mind. One too many fights and you never know what might happen to you.

    @kingeliii9011

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@aaronam0115 You have a valid point. Hagler was still the champ, and back in those days you really had to whip the champ in order for that belt to change hands. I would've been okay with it had Leonard knocked Hagler down once, or at least staggered him. Then I could've lived with the decision. I was a Leonard guy back then, I didn't want Hagler to hurt him. I remember a lot of politics surrounding that fight, like the ring size, what type of gloves Leonard wanted in order to fight etc. Leonard wasn't the champ, and Hagler needed the payday, so Leonard got his way. Leonard fought a very smart fight, can't take anything away from him on that. But he clearly didn't do enough to take Marvelous Marvin Hagler's championship belt away from a man who always gave 100% in that ring. Just my opinion, you have a right to express yours too.

    We have all aged, but Hagler hasn’t? And he looks sharp. Definitely one of the best boxers in his division, if not the best. I have a lot respect for this gentleman, he’s so leyendary!

    Its amazing how well Hagler has aged esp since he was in so many wars with philly fighters and ofc Hearns & Mugabi. Just shows how amazing his chin was and how under-rated his parrying defense was! Greatest Southpaw ever

    No stutter. No signs of any type of brain injury. This is due how underrated he was defensively and on top of everything how Iron his chin and head was because he was still in a lot of wars! Truly Marvelous!

    He was the best OLD-SCHOOL boxer of my lifetime (I'm 56). Everybody else was dancing around copying Ali's style and speed etc. But Marvin was just as TRADITIONAL and pure, and straight forward! He kept his head down, and tucked in his chin. He had that straight jab and straight right. But he also had a vicious hook. Marvin was a relentless. I put him in a class of boxers like Joe Frazier, George Foreman and Mike Tyson. ALL BUSINESS! No nonsense. No flashy style, no clowning in the ring. No dancing or running around. Just STRAIGHT TOE-TO-TOE BRAWLING! All in from the bell. None of this pacing yourself and spreading out the rounds etc. No rope-a-dope, or Philly Shell, or possum, or hit and git strategy. No shoe-shine flurries etc. to rack up points. Lol. He just went ALL-IN from the bell to get it done! He could take shots that most guys his size could NEVER endure. He got passed Tommy's right hand. That's AMAZING! He wore Hearns out! Cut on the eye and all. He just kept coming. He hit hard too. Always in peak shape. Rest in peace Marvelous Marvin! A TRUE champ and gentleman. How Sugar Ray lasted 12 round with you I'll never know. Hahaha! Both greats. Totally different styles.
