Angel Barraza Ive had that hawkeye a few years the sculpt in my opinion is perfect but the articulation is extremely lackluster

Finally! Somebody showcases how badly the hip joint on that mold has deteriorated! I've only ever seen one other person mention it, and it was pretty much just an afterthought. And that was Shartimus Prime. Thank you for finally bringing it to the forefront of a review, sir!

About the wrist guards, I tell myself that he is so good with a bow that he never hits his arm with the string and the guards are on the outside to protect against such bullets and knives.

Great review as always buddy.The marvel select is my favorite one of the bunch and im keeping it,lol.Out of the ones you reviewed they just keep missing the mark with the headsculpt but that marvel select one seems just about right but I could be wrong.

Man! I know they like to give armpit joints to characters like Spidey and Iron Fist, but I never realized how useful that is for Hawkeye! (Hasbro also needs to stop being cheap with their accessories)

Hasbro needs to quit using the same body molds over and over again..ounce or twice is good but every figure basically only has a different paint job.

at least the bodys they use now look rather good and fit the characters. much better than the old captain marvel mold

It really makes me wonder why Hasbro just doesn't use as many old Toybiz molds as they can for some characters. I mean, they probably don't have literally everyone, but the latest Iron Fist we got uses the Bullseye mold I think, so what is even the heck? And they can totally work in a Hawkeye with actual arrows and maybe a bow if they do what they did for Agent Venom and Wolverine; tack them onto a line. The accessories oughta make up for the lack of a BAF part and balance the plastic amount

It sucks that we have to pay alot more for better quality and more plastic in action figures. Even then quality isn't all that good nowadays. For example I paid $40 for the walking dead motorcycle figure set and had to return it because it broke right outta the box. Then again my Neca Godzilla seems more durable than my fancy Japanese imports. Then again it's always risky when it comes to buying figures it might break or last a long time but I am noticing that modern ones break alot more easily and frequently than older versions. Who knows? Maybe the fact that they used lead paint kept old figures in better condition. Lol

Wow! Wish I had that 2004 Toybiz Hawkeye instead of this ALL FATHER wave Hawkeye (which was $19.99+ tax). The separate trick arrows & the fully functional bow instantly sold me on that figure. The storage quiver & sky cycle are just icing on the cake.

The recent Marvel Select 'Avenging Hawkeye' is easily my favorite - but I am a fan of the Faction run in the comics.

This figure was less than $15 at my local Meijer several times and they have not sold a single one of him.

Imagine how ironically devastating it would be if his house actually burned down...

I too much prefer the toy biz one , did you get this one from the UK ?

The 3.75 inch version of the Marvel Now Hawkeye (AKA Assemble Assemble cartoon repaint of the movie body mold) has a better head than the Legends one, he has less of an ugly mouth expression with those lines next to the nose and more of a slight smirk on the 3.75 inch one, which gives him more expression and I love it! Too bad the figure uses an underwhelming body mold... (the double quiver on the back also just looks weird, but sort of cool.)

Should have added the Hasbro 2-pack Ronin with the Clint head, too! But, nice review and much appreciated. :) I share your feelings on the Bucky Cap body. They used it waaay too much, too fast. I'm tired of it, already. I was thinking about swapping Machine Man's arm, or both arms, to Hawkeye. I do not like that Winter Soldier arm. I would have preferred if they would have used the 2-pack comic Winter Soldier arm. :-/

Great review. Definitely love the comparison style. Yeah though I like the marvel movies I hate when they feel the need to change the comic character's costume cause of it.

Both Hawkeye's current 616 look and MCU look are more influenced his his Ultimate look than anything else. The MCU costume was pretty much exactly Ultimate Hawkeye. Ultimate Hawkeye was wearing that costume back in 2002. I'm not sure if I would say it's as simple as just MCU taking over.

i prefer the heroic age one!

I mix and match. Toybiz accessories with Marvel Now or All Father. But I am curious how they sit I. The sky steed... Great review.

I would save the Marvel now Hawkeye with the Toybiz Hawkeye accessories.

I'm not a full one expert on archery, but I do have a bow and when ever I let go, the string hits me hard in the inner forearm. So yea they put it wrong

Me personally, I prefer his more modern design, mostly because I do love the comic its based from, the Matt Fraction series. Though I wish the head was better and those arm guards I hade how they are reversed and painted on. I do agree that the toybiz one has some cooler accessories,........Im gonna be honest... I hate the "Real world" look/paint of toybiz figures sometimes. I guess I kind of stand of having a paint job like Hasbro, but with some washes to not make it look shiny or flat like current Hasbro figures have. But, that's just me.

Hi Glenn. I also own the Toy Biz figure and it actually has joint above the boot. A little unnecessary but..

Almost every bucky cap figure I've gotten since the spiderman wave carnage has had those wiggly hips, maybe I'm just unlucky but I think it might be mould degradation.

6:12 I'm pretty sure the "stringed bow with arrows" can't be done by toy companies anymore, it's considered unsafe and is illegal to sell in some places. It sucks, but you can't knock Hasbro for that omission.

The one with the removable arrows is the best

I prefer the Hasbro Hawkeyes waaaaay more although the toybiz figure has better paint, articulation and weapons it looks way to derpy for my liking
