Wow. I opened this video 7 hours ago, when I made my previous comment. Only now did I watch it. What an immersive experience!! I was focused on the PC monitor for half an hour, observing a superbly well-played StarCraft II match. You were equally focused, constantly examining small but important details. Very immersive, as I said!

I've only recently just found your KZread channel, but I've been going through all your content lately. I love your channel, thanks for doing what you do.

I have been going CC first in my rushes of late- you can more than make up for the delay with the early SCV production as long as the opponent is not rushing you. It is a bit of a gamble, but if you get past the first 3 minutes you are way ahead because everything after the factory is easy to get minerals for- the third is way early too.

PoV analyses are so much more interesting than traditional casting! It's more personal and in-depth.

even though I've already seen this video it's really nice to watch your first person insights.

You could analyse the Byun vs Classic game that Lowko casted that was an insane game that could be intressting to see your thoughts about.

I'd love to see some kind of split map challenge or something. Maybe on a custom map with some space between ~8 bases on each side, both sides max out and then throw money at each other until you're all out or you storm the other's base and win.

I’ve been doing 2nd CC first ever since I started playing SC2 back in 2012, specially when I go up against a Zerg player.

Ryung's IEM games against Protoss were pretty good.

I think Blizzard should have to pay a royalty to the Aliens franchise - ever since those films, we have been loving the idea of slathering hordes of vicious aliens charging brave marines who blaze wildly with their weapons set to omgdiediediefullautoget'emgetsomegetsomelet'emhaveitpewpewpew!!!!11bbq!!

@uThermal I see terran SCVs in expansion bases destroyed by lings run by in late game that always makes me wonder why not defend those bases with a few units in the middle of the SCVs such as a bunker an a few marines or 2-3 hellbats. That should definitely cheaper than constantly loosing 5-10 SCVs in each runby. whats your thoughts?

I don't think you can really afford to keep units in every base all the time, and even if you do they would just die for free to banelings aswell. It's better to just always see the attacks coming and move your units there but obviously easier said than done :P

I'd love to see both of them switch races and play each other XD

One of the best game of the last years is a TvP in my opinion. the last game of Ryung VS Zest in GSL s1 of this year if I am correct. Would love to see your analysis on it.

why is his first base on the main ? this is old school Sc2 ....

Protosses tend to beat maru in a split base situation if they last long enough (see zoun or creator). TvT if they get lucky. I dont think ive ever seen it with zerg.

Maru is just not likely to die in lategame regardless of the matchup. What you saw Creator or Zoun did was they jumping on Maru in the early game, taking a big lead and then force Maru playing lategame with his back against the wall. If Maru can get into lategame TvP with a somewhate equal footing, hes not losing. Lategame TvT, Maru can be beaten, but his winrate is still around 80% for that. TvZ lategame, I would say its either Reynor or Dark got a better chance at beating Maru than Serral and Rogue, who focus more on busting Maru down before they can reach lategame.

Maru has the best late game I have ever seen. Maybe Innovation tvz during the last season of heart of the swarm was better.

Why broodlords? Swarm host would of been a better choice and nydus for late game backrow harass in marus main

Could it be that Maru is 'holding' a finished tank in that Factory? Like at any time he could sac the add-on to get a tank.

TVZ is the best match up ever. TVP is boring because protoss have an easy time all game and terran is just surviving since the first minute
