Recently was in the hospital in critical shape. I was alone sad , worried didn't know if I was going to make it and this song randomly came on one night and I just couldn't help but cry and praise God cause I took it as a sign I had an Angel with me and everything would be ok. And ya know what I'm still here . Happy Easter everyone and To God be the Glory

I lost my mom to end stage COPD and lung cancer on June the 4th 2020, this was her favorite song we played it at her funeral.. An I am her only son besides my older sister, I listen 2 this song daily an when I'm feeling down an it makes me cry everytime, but ik when I hear this song my mom's looking down on me from heaven an saying son it'll be ok! Thanks for making this song, an god bless everyone that has lost someone!

I used to sing this song in Burnsville Minn in a family band that was together when my parents were alive they both would be 110. You see I came from a family of 12 and I'm the youngest pushing 64. My belov3d one died last month and when I sang that song he would look at me like their was no one else in the room. I'm sure we will keep those in are hearts as long as they beat.

I am proud of myself for having been around in the early 90's and 2K Martina era. She is legendary.

It's amazing how when you have a stroke diagnosed with cancer how people change around you but our savior will always walk with us you never alone❤

Martina McBride is a very beautiful woman and an excellent singer! Watching people like Martina McBride and Rick Nelson perform makes me wish that I had chosen professional singing as my career.

I grew up listening to 70s and 80s rock & roll. Martina is the only singer that can even come close to the incomparable voice of Linda Ronstadt. Such clarity, dynamic power and range. I love this woman's music.

I absolutely love this song ❤ I lost my parents when I was 18 years old. I was a teen Mom and my little brother was 6 years old when it happened. This song was so relatable. Independence Day is my anthem! My parents were murdered. I often wonder if musicians understood how much their music helps people?

I have eclectic taste and I agree that 90 music in country, rock, metal, grunge, pop and rap were hands down some of the most creatively free, socially aware, and freely heard music. This was music that empowered the masses and inspired so much creativity in our society. Most country today is washed of everything that makes people FEEL the music and the poetry. My favorite band to listen to now is Larkin Poe. Two beautiful sisters with a modem blues twang. Their covers are incredible and their originals that they record live are amazing.

Gosh this song brings back the memory of my mother ❤️ she sure was a wild angel that introduced me to martina mcbride on our first driving trip 😁 that was 13 years ago. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was her moment of perfection. Maybe for all of us.

Sure is. Fell head over heels with her back in the 90's when I was dj on Country radio. Still love her today. Topped if off when she guest starred on a Baywatch episode as a Country artist trying to get discovered. Ricky Van Shelton was on there too. Playing a Country singer estranged from his family when the Baywatch gang helped him find his wife and little boy.
