Thanks very much for these videos Oluv. The sound comparisons with binaural audio give a fantastic insight. I listened to the Marshalls in a store and was impressed with the Tufton and Stockwell 2 in comparison to Bose and sonos rivals. I wasn’t sure which to buy so decided to look at some budget options instead. Your videos inspired me to buy the Tribit Xsound Go and Doss Soundbox xl as a result. 👍🏽 very happy! I’m looking for a higher end model. Any suggestions for good comparisons to the Tufton under €500?

Wow, the Tufton is quite nice! Very deep and somehow captures a warm, yet "hi fi" sound that my ears really like alot. How is it against the HK Onyx studio 5/6? Somehow I feel like they are very well matched. But I feel like you can get more tones outta the Tufton..

Stabilization on the Osmo really only works outside in good light. The EIS turns off in darker areas to prevent ghosting/smearing.

Great video! How do you compare the Tufton to the Stanmore? I have Stanmore at home and love the sound. Actually it plays too loud, so I am considering buying a Tufton for outside, trips, camping and ect. It the sound is the same as the Stanmore, great!

i just purchased my 2nd Marshall Tufton tonight, and I gotta say, hands down the best sounding, best clarity, bass, etc etc speaker Ive ever had. I even have 2 Harmon Kardon Onyx studio 4's, JBL Extreme 2, and even the JBL Partybox 300. All I need is the Tuftons. Period

Thanks Oluv for your first impression. I'm relieved on how it sounds. I definitely don't feel the need to get one. I like the punch, but do not care for the overall tuning. It's also too large and heavy for what I consider portable. The Stockwell 2 is the most impressive of the 3, even though it lacks the volume of the Kilburn and Tufton. My Kilburn 2 closely competes with my JBL Extreme 2. The JBL has better, more punchy bass than the Kilburn, but the vocals on the Kilburn have a more natural sound. The JBL is by far the most durable against the elements and it is my most used speaker.

I have a stanmore 1st gen, Acton 1st gen, kilmore 2nd gen. By far the most balanced and the one i enjoy the most listening is the stanmore 1st gen

please compare it with the Harman Kardon go play. My HK died and I am looking for some upgrade

Marshall Tufton is ok I just wish Marshall could have added just a little bit more transparency to the sound signature and I do like the Kilburn but I wish that Marshall would have use more stereo processing with the Kilburn 2 and the tufton i think they should have added a soft Dome mid range to the front and back along with the Tweeters and the stereo processing on the Stockwell 2 is way overdone but it sounds nice.

V sound vs W sound? the most important is to do not have distortions. and both do not have some, apparently. with AIMP equaliser i think it's possible to have a good sound without distortion with both of them. all the marshall series seems to sound great this year.

Aber tausend Prozent. Vielleicht in der maximal Lautstärke nicht ganz und ein kleines bisschen weniger Bass aber im gesamten Klang definitiv ne andere Liga👌

Deine Videos verfolge und höre ich immer mit sehr viel Genuss. Die Soundqualität sucht wirklich ihres gleichen. Ich höre immer über meine einfachen In Ears von AKG die bei meinem Samsung S8+ Plus dabei waren. Für meinen Geschmack kommt die Qualität sehr gut rüber, und kann super gut differenzieren zwischen den unterschiedlichsten Lautsprechern. Wahnsinn diese unterschiede und Nuancen die man raus hört. Bitte mach immer so weiter mit deinem Kanal und lass dich nicht auf blöde und unsachliche Kommentare drauf ein. Kritik darf man natürlich immer äußern, und das nicht jeder die gleiche Meinug hat ist auch klar, sonst wäre es ja langweilig 😉. Aber immer in einem respektvollen und sachlichen Umgang. Es gibt auch andere gute Kanäle, aber keiner kann das so hervorrangend wiedergeben wie du es machst. Einmalig 👌👍💪👑. Ps: dein Sohn ist echt Zucker 😂😂😂😂😂.....einen schönen sonnigen Sonntag noch.........mach bitte immer weiter 🎛🎧📢🎶🎶🎵🎼📻

For me the Teufel seemed to have a lot more top end sparkle. However, I would have liked to hear a longer comparison with the Tufton treble control set higher. We could see the position of the Tufton tone control knobs, therefore knowing what the Teufel bass and treble was set to would also have been useful info. Maybe something to think about when doing the full review.

hmm also für die größe ist der tufton dann auch nicht mehr all zu beeindruckend, da eine jbl boombox etwa den gleichen bass packt, auch wenn sie schlechter klingt. dennoch würde ich den teufel boomster NG oder teufel rockster cross empfehlen, auch wenn beide auf maximal weniger bass haben, dafür speilen sie einen sauberen Bass und klingen in den mitten besser udn die lautstärke ist nicht soo weit enfernt. allein das gewicht und die größe vom boomster NG oder dem teufel rockster cross, sprechen für sich - und der preis. der tufton ist top aber nicht ganz optimal. gibt aber in der größe echt nich viel vergleichbares

vielleicht mal nen test gegen die dockin d fine und dann gegen beide. Darüber wurde ich mich freuen. Geile Videos und mega Sound

Ich feier den kleinen Marshi immernoch! Terasse und zum einschalfen perfekt! Hab lange gesucht! Habe den großen auch im Mediamarkt angehört und ich finde zu hast recht mit der Boomieness. Auch hinten aus dem Mittel/Hochtöner kommt mir zu wenig raus :(

ja, der Bass überdeckt alles andere und obenrum hat man nur noch etwas Gezische. Er ist nicht gut abgestimmt und auch der hintere Treiber bringt einfach zu wenig, der Teufel war von hinten nicht so viel schlechter.

Have you heard of the klipsch "the one" bluetooth speaker? Think this might be a good comparison of you can get you hands on one?

I like the Minirigs much better! Not so much bass, but 4 minirigs are 160 Watts power and they ALL fit into a relatively small backpack together with the subwoofer and everything is below 3 kg!!! Much more portability, greater battery life, less weight, more powerful sound and last, but not least, option for modularity!!! Minirigs are the Apple of the portable boombox industry! Nothing beats the Minirig!!! :)

For compatibility issues I ALSO own a Windows based PC, BUT I still could never live without an iMac, because even by turning on the computer I save up a lot of time EVERY SINGLE TIME, not to mention the other issues with popup windows, viruses, constant software installation matters that bothered me all along I owned windows! And when I praise the Minirig is because I own one and I speak from my own experience: I do own both Apple and Minirig and they are both second to none!

the treble is refined. Not harsh at all. The jbl boombox for example has harsh treble and sounds way more present. "Harsh" treble is around the 5K hz range whilst this is boosted at around 10k and up.

Thank you, it was more because that the tufton sounded ok but i have always wanted the aiwa when i Got enough money for it. But i Then heard the tufton when my friend bought one, and i was really impressed by it (since i have 2 Onyx studio 4’s and they can’t pump out the Heavy Sound the tufton could, but i still love the Onyx studios) but i just wanted to hear your opinion But it is decided that It’s going to be the Aiwa And thanks for you Quick response

Franjo_F18 Der Teufel Rockster Cross ist definitiv besser als der PK7! Der Cross spielt viel tiefer und kräftiger im Bass, hat viel bessere Höhen und kann wesentlich lauter! Für mich ist der Cross momentan der beste Kompromiss aus Größe, Gewicht, Outdoor-Tauglichkeit, Akkulaufzeit, Lautstärke und Klang. Es mag natürlich in jeder dieser Kategorien einen besseren Lautsprecher geben, jedoch vereint der Cross all diese Punkte in einem sehr guten Verhältnis :)

Personally i think the Marshall range of bluetooth speakers are designed for lovers of rock music, its their thing! Marshall amps, they are not going to move away from that success story so if you're thinking of purchasing this to listen to the manufactured pop music of today then you will be disappointed.
