Marshall did a fantastic job with this speaker! The sound is incredible for its size and considering battery life, fast charging, sound control and overall quality I think it is the best choice in it class by far!!!

Well .. I just bought this for my daughter's birthday BUT I bought the JBL Flip4 on Oluv's recommendation and although the sound is good the battery has been terrible and now the speaker just crackles horribly and shuts down after 5 minutes. Hopefully I got a bad unit and the stockwell 2 will be better.

This comparison is great, especially because you are using a good microphone to capture it. I recently bought the Stockwell 2, and your video was the ONLY one that helped convince me of the real sound of the Stockwell 2 in comparison to the other models I was choosing from (some JBL, B&O, and Bose stuff). The other reviews use quite bad microphones that they don't even give me a reliable sense of what the speakers sound like. Kudos to you!

I advice you to play with equalizer on Stockwell 2. It makes it even better

I've bought this speaker because of your review and have to say that it hugely benefits from adjusting equalizer. You can really open the sound and bring back some of the lost vocals. Then the overall in built quality makes it a truly great piece of tech

The winner bécause treble & reverb effect is istockwell 2 (not muddy, not cover sound) But Denon Envaya 250 it has the loudness. Oluv is 100 % back!!!

Aufgrund deiner Videos habe ich mir den Stockwell2 jetzt auch zugelegt und ich muss mich deinen " Lobeshymnen" direkt anschließen!! Eines mache jedoch schon nach kürzester Zeit ganz anders als du ... Ich finde den Marshall NOCH besser , wenn man ihn längs zu sich hinstellt . Dabei ist mir schon öfter passiert , das ich die Musik gar nicht mehr richtig orten konnte und dabei bleibt der Klang unglaublich präzise und alles ist am richtigen "Platz" . Danke für die Videos!

Yes, the volume is really low and no volume heard until you get to 4 or 5 and really need to be at 7 or more to hear anything. Ohhh! I was thinking about Oslo but after this comparison I decided to give a chance to Stockwell II. In fact, I tried it about 2 years ago and saw that it was moving on the surface, even it was not at the highest volume. And I don't remember taht I was impressed with the sound. But it seems that I must reconsider. Thanks for it. Do you know any other portable speakers (may be bigger or same size) which has the similar 360 degree effect? What about Dali Katch G2 or B&O Beoplay P6?

That stockwell ll sounds amazing compared to those great speakers. Stockwell sounds fuller on the highs mids and lows(though not as boomy as the competition). Just might pull the trigger on this one for an upgrade from a small ultra portable oontz angle 3 ultra that’s been going strong for almost 3 years

Does someone know if the Stockwell II still sounds good when placed horizontally on a bed or couch ? My father always use his actual monodirectional speaker Bose Micro like this and with the Marshall I'm afraid the sound would get too much distorted because of the omnidirectional sound (and I'm not sure if my father will be able to make it stay vertically on the bed...). Thanks if anyone can give a feedback :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm sure it's a decent speaker, but I wanted stereo really. I went for the Denon in the end, as I enjoy the warm bass presence and mini hi-fi sound even at low volumes (that's if you can ignore the annoying hissing sound!), but in retrospect maybe the anker soundcore motion plus was the ideal option for me.

Great review! Really impressed with you're in-detail efforts. Thanx a lot! I already compared the Stockwell II to quite a lot competitors in a shop and found it to be really good for it's size. The more or less omni-directional sound is in deed much more usable in many scenarios. I guess I'll purchase one of those little guys and hope it will fit (I'm a MetalHead😁🤘🏻😎) Na super, und am Ende vom Video kommt raus, ich hätte gleich alles in deutsch schreiben können... Gei bittä!🤣✌🏻 Haha, der Vogel! Echt mal!😅😅😅
