the killbrun have a little harshness on treble, but i think that the bass is more handled than the audio pro. I wasn't a fan of marshall but now i've changed my advice, they sound really great now.

I use a bang and olufsen a1.... as u know its sound is phenomenal and ultra clean...for upgrading which one do u suggest marshall stockwell ll , killburn ll or the tufton ? And do keep in mind value for money

@Duduv-54 Magicien I use A1 plus 20000 mAh power bank - speaker undestroyed for £20 ... also design of A1 is much better than Stockwell 2 or any Marshall speaker. That said, I very much like this Stockwell 2 ... the Kilburn 2 not so much

how does marshal compare to the vifa? If money is no object which is the best speaker around 2-3kg max?

Id be interested if you could get a hold of the new Stanmore. I had the first version and wasn't happy with the sound, but loved the overall build.

I should add why-- for me it sounded 'boxed in', like you've mentioned before. It was also a shame that the dial controls on top aren't analogue, rather, they follow a strange curve. When you adjust the volume it will jump up, when you want it to smoothly adjust.

Excellent videos/reviews Oluv. 3D binaural audio is really a must videos like these. Looks like the Marshall Stockwell 2 is a winner.

Looking at the websites, I don’t think the Kilburn II has Blumlien Stereo, which explains the sound difference, The Tufton however does but that is a beast compared to the Stockwell II.

Yeah if the Marshall Kilburn just had that open spacious sound of the Stockwell 2 I would love it. but the Kilburn actually has a fuller sound but it's missing the spacious sound quality of the Stockwell 2 but it his clearer midrange performance than that other three driver Unit.

I don't know what to choose kilburn 2 or stockwell 2, what is better in your opinion? I want to use it at home not for party or outdoor. I think stockwell sounds better but I have doubt whether he has enough volume margin.

If anyone is interested, I bought Stockwell 2 and am a little disappointed. The sound level is very low. When I connect it to my phone (Asus Zenfone 5z), I do not hear sound until I turn the volume control knob to 4. At the maximum level, it is also not too loud. This is not what you can expect from a speaker of this size and price. I tried to play with the equalizer and other phone settings, but that did not help. The situation is a little better when I connect it to a laptop. I think the maximum volume is 30-40% higher, but I don’t hear much magic. Yes, the sound is pretty good, but I do not recommend buying this thing. I think you can buy something better for the money. Well, in the end, I planned to use it with a laptop, and not with a phone or for a party on the street. I decided to leave it only because I bought it with a 40% discount.

Hi, is better than acton?

Its a great all around speaker. Just, feels loose... the sound. And the mid range frequency are overwhelming. But i get it. The pros about this speaker was its silky smooth sound without harshness found in most bluetooth speaker. Great bass potential too, it just that its cabinet are design so to give more isolation from the back sound of the speaker, giving it a more natural sound.

Duell zwischen Kilburn 2 und Rockster cross habe lange überlegt den Cross oder den Kilburn 2 hab mich dann für den Cross entschieden bin auch voll auf begeistert vom Cross mich würde interressieren wie der Killburn 2 mithalten kann??? :)

The little Stockwell 2 is fantastic! While the Kilburn 2 isn't bad by any means, I think it's bass could reach a bit deeper in frequency and have less upper bass, "boxy" sound. I think the AudioPro outperforms it. Also I wanna pet cute Jimmy haha

If you want a solid and deep bass (only indoors), choose onxy5. If you want a strong and powerful bass, choose Kilburn2

Please test the Mac Audio 222 and 555.

Another great, super helpful review. I hope ZoundIndustries sends you a Tufton and an Urbanears Ralis for review. I'm particularly interested in seeing how the Ralis sounds compared to the Stockwell II since it seems to have the same drivers and amps in a bigger enclosure - might be the best of both worlds.

Can you compare it with Xtreme 2, please?

Even if you take the ugly Marshall logo off them I still think that you're left with very ugly Bluetooth speakers. Fortunately you're not buying them for their looks.

In my opinion, the Stockwell II sounds way better overall even though it's more compact. It sounds very alive compared to the Kilburn II which rather sounds covered...

Der Killburn klingt nicht besonders, verhangen und eingeschlossen. Da klingt der alte C3 wesentlich ausgewogener und klarer und vor allem der kleine Stockwell..

Being that I now own both stockwell 2 and kilborn 2,the only thing the kilborn 2 has over stockwell 2 is more volume, the stockwell has way better clarity .

Stockwell 2 is a good speaker?

I have both the Stockwell 2 and the Kilburn 2 and I have to agree I was more impressed by the Stockwell 2. It sounds much bigger than what it is and the sound quality at low volume to it's maximum level is really good. But its maximum level is where it falls short. It just doesn't get very loud. It's ok if you are relatively close to it or you're not trying to fill a large room with sound. That's the only thing I think it lacks, sheer volume. But it is an ultra portable, excellent sounding speaker. I still think the Kilburn 2 sounds great. It has has more room filling volume than the Stockwell 2, but it won't set any records for sheer volume either. It should be louder than what it is. My Extreme 2 on battery power is comparable. The Extreme 2's bass is a little punchier, but the Kilburn 2 has much better, more natural sounding vocals and it has better bass at maximum levels because it doesn't lose any like the JBL. I wish I could mate them and have the best features of both, a Kilburn 2 Extreme 😁

@@dnbeventsinbenelux2450 I'm curious on how it sounds, but that's it. It's too expensive and at nearly 11lbs, it's also too heavy. The most I paid for any of the 3 speakers I mentioned was $237, and that was for the Kilburn 2, and all were brand new. I'm more than satisfied with the 3 of these. I just don't trust the batteries lasting a long time. I think most will fail in under 5 years. I could be wrong, but time will tell. All 3 give me more than 20 hours of play time at a little over 50% volume, even the JBL with its claimed rating of 15 hours. I had them set slightly above conversation level playing an iHeart radio station that played hits from the 80's to present day rock, so probably 70-75% music and 25-30% talk. With about 30 minutes at about 70% volume. All produce excellent sound. The JBL is kind of the easiest to carry because of the shoulder strap, you can still have 2 hands free. And the Extreme 2 is built like a rock with speakers :) I think the only thing that would kill it is fire, or a hard hitting drop. It's by far the most rugged. What really surprised me was their Bluetooth range. Outside, with line of sight, all 3 went to 128ft (just measured it today) without breaking up or losing signal, but that was using my Moto X4 which has Bluetooth 5.0, so I don't know if that matters at all. I also live in the country, that may have some significance on the distance I achieved. And with the JBL, I even walked behind a shed at a slightly farther distance and it still worked, quite frankly, I was astonished. I was probably around 135ft away! I still can't believe it worked! I'll check it again on another day. Both the phone and the speaker had a full charge. So all 3 speakers go way beyond their claimed distance.

Also am besten beide haben das wäre cool. Mich würde Interresieren wie die Denon envaya gegen killburn2 klingt kannst du das bitte mal machen !!????? When the oslo is loud (to be loud) outdoors or indoors, it will sound wider than stockwell 2. Stockwell 2 is more spacious at normal volume. Because stockwell 2 has double-sided sound, it can be reflected indoors. Create a sense of space, but there is no wall to reflect stockwell 2 outdoors, so oslo will beat everything in stockwell 2 outdoors

The sound quality part oslo is dual channel Stockwell 2 is mono The fineness and realism of the sound performance oslo is a win. Stockwell 2's treble is rough and the vocal performance is more unnatural. If you want good sound quality, you must buy oslo. However, vifa speakers have one thing in common. The sound quality is good and sounds comfortable but lacks dynamic

Beide Lautsprecher sind klasse. Wer hauptsächlich zu Hause hört und keinen Lautsprecher für Partys sucht, ist mit dem Stockwell 2 gut beraten. Wer mehr Power braucht, dann den Killburn 2.

wirklich power hat der Kilburn 2 auch nicht, ich hab mal mit einem minirig setup verglichen, das waren welten, der Kilburn ist kaum lauter als ein XB30, dafür mit mehr bass.

Stockwell sounds thin, underpowered and has an exaggerated tunnel reverb effect that comes with most Bluetooth speakers. How can you even compare the 2? Kilburn all day.

Not even close; the Stockwell 2 has way deeper bass not as boomy bloated midbass boost; but those deaf Blasta kids simply have no clue they will take whatever is marking more noise

oluv's gadgets So then we can agree to disagree. Bass frequencies are longer and flatter as I’m sure you are aware... That means they are more “felt” than they are heard. The Stockwell does not have that kind of power. Also you were attenuating the volume of both in order to favour the Stockwell. I’m guessing it was because it can’t compete at higher amplitudes. The driver is programmed to do things it simply doesn’t want to do. Therefore it sounded totally synthetic to my ears at least. Try the Woburn 2. I don’t think you have reviewed one before. You can compare it to the larger Aiwa or that Naim you have.

Wtf... either Stockwell 2 is unbelievably good, or Kilburn 2 is worse than it should be. I have Kilburn 2 and basing on this video, I can agree that Stockwell 2 sounds better. Way better. I'm confused.

Da kommt der Kilburn aber nicht ansatzweise ran, von der Lautstärke wird der bereits von den Minirigs deklassiert
