I have the Marshall action 2 and I’m in a pickle pls HELP!!!! I love the sound on it, but it only works when plugged into the wall. Should I return it and get the Stockwell 2 so that it’s portable ? Or look into another speaker ? The Action 2 not being portable isn’t the biggest burden but I’m not sure ...I really just want bass and Loud volume..What’s the best option on the market?

Der klingt wirklich sehr gut, da hat sich Marshall ja wirklich stark verbessert. Eine Frage an dich: Ich werde demnächst umziehen und habe bis jetzt an meinem Mac die KEF X300A Wireless betrieben. Ich werde mein Setup allerdings verkleinern und die KEF verkaufen. Nun suche ich einen guten Ersatz, am besten so kompakt wie es geht und trotzdem raumfüllend. Habe da an die Bose Revolve+ oder an diese Marshall gedacht. Habe noch einen Vifa Helsinki hier aber 360 Grad-Klang wäre schon von Vorteil. Der Bose klingt hier im Video schrecklich, also lieber den Vifa nutzen, eventuell den Marshall in Betracht ziehen oder doch was komplett anderes? Klanglich am besten ausgewogen und Hifi sowie 360 Grad raumfüllend. Preislich habe ich mir sowas für 350 € bis max. 400 € vorgestellt, wenn günstiger umso besser. Ich danke dir schon jetzt vielmals für dein Feedback!

having both I would say for casual listening it is the better speaker and bigger as well as smoother sounding speaker. It also has deeper bass!

Dennis Schmitz I have bought and returned it, it sounds nice, but sounds unnatural to me, I would prefer stereo sound without that reverb effect, like two minirigs 3, they together are more portable, on low mode, sound better, still louder, and I have the option of taking just one for more portability. Yes they together are more expensive than the Marshall.

Hi from Bangalore in 2021, before watching this video, today I went to buy Bose Soundlink Revolve and by chance auditioned Marshall Stockwell II and I ended up buying Stockwell II! I loved the sound signature of Stockwell, much more clear bass and lovely melodic trebles! Now I can fully understand why Oluv liked Stockwell!!! :) And a plus point, Stockwell is much more a looker than Bose Revolve! ;)

Is there something wrong with my ears if i didnt hear the dog chew on his first 2 toys?

Thanks for the video! Also watched your 36 minute video about Marshall Stockwell II. I try to use AUX whenever possible!!!! Want to avoid BT radiation as much as I can :) Question (scoured the internet but didn't find answer): is there a way to turn Bluetooth off when in AUX mode? Or does the speaker turn BT off automatically when you use AUX? Can you please please check for me? I want the speaker not connectable or even discoverable (via Bluetooth scan) when in AUX mode.. i.e., BT should be TOTALLY off. Some speakers go into continuous pairing mode when AUX connected. Anyway, would much appreciate if you could check and let me know! Thanks again for your work... subscribed.

The speaker turns BT off automatically . It's Bluetooth or aux, not both at the same time.

Now that Oluv has been impressed, everybody run to get a Stockwell II before the price shoots up!

Hello, my english is not perfect. I'am from Colombia :D, i will start my narration when i asked you about the philips fidelio p8/p9 because i liked a lot. Is difficult to buy something from a different country but i finally get it... It didn't sound good lol... Then i continue seeing your videos thinking witch one should i buy to give my house some flavor. Currently, and thanks to you, i have the doss soundbox xl for a "portable sound system" and actually i have been used in my university to give some kind of "party" in my sport training (table tennis). When i see your video about the tribit xfree tune and heard that you helped with the eq... I didn't think twice. For my birthday i wanted them. Currently i use them everyday. I just want to thank you, maybe some people don't understand the logic of sound and the effort that you are putting... Thanks. Your work couldn't be done better, you have opened a mystery box that only few people understand and appreciate the worth of your work. I don't know your future, but i am very grateful of getting across with you in my life. It was only an idea... And i don't know exactly how it is, but maybe... you could get something with Tribit... work together or something.... i don't know... maybe you are not the best, but what have you done is fantastic. Great job as usual ! I like your possession by Hi-Fi :) I bought few items just after watching your videos. But here I am stuck. It would be fair to compare Stockwell 2 to B&O P6 as omnidirectional speakers. Your database is amazing but it is missing your live comments and listening from different angels with different volume and bass/treble settings on Marshall ;-)

Great Video! I am very impressed with this Marshall speaker :) It does sound more spacious than the Bose and helsinki interestingly at lower levels for sure, well worth the money. I also wondered, because you reviewed the Naim Muso and Vifa Stockholm 2.0, whether you may review in the future the newly released all-in-one Bowers & Wilkins Formation Wedge Wireless Speaker? It is expensive at £899 but similar priced to the Naim and Vifa. Many thanks for your work!

Interesting. I had the Stanmore 1 for a brief time- I had to sell it on. The sound was trapped inside the box, no matter how loud it went, it couldn’t fill my moderate sized room. I was always very aware of where the sound was coming from. I wasn’t a fan of the sound signature either. Sounds like I may need to audition these new mk2 models. As always, thanks for your time, and good luck with your pool! Ps. I found using builders sand levels out patio stones very well- had trouble with ants dislodging the underlaying material making them wonky.

Yeah Marshall it sound better than the beoplay P6 but the thing with the beoplay P6 they need to fix that sloppy bass problem then the beoplay P6 could have been good too. put with the Marshall you can always phone equalize it to kick up the lower mid range sound Rather than Bass and Trouble.

Before watching the video, I thought The Marshall should be a competitor of Vifa Helsinki. But after that, I think it should compare with Denon Envaya 250...a bigger, heavier and better battery performance Envaya 250. If it can go louder, it would better.

no, it is quite underwhelming

Oluv - I’m not sure how to contact you directly BUT I have just purchased the Marshall Emberton. I really think it is THE ONE. The have toned down the blumelein stereo a little and the volume syncs with the device. The sound is expansive, has punch and the speaker is 1/3 the size of the Stockwell (which is still great). Enjoy and look forward to your review if you get one!!!

Hey man, I hope you're enjoying your Emberton so far, I remember it being punchy for its size, if I may I like to recommend Alan Ross review on the Emberton vs Stockwell II, a pretty in depth video if I may say.

Ich hab noch keinen gefunden. Aber der neue Anker Soundcore Motion+ soll ganz gut sein. Steckt auch den JBL in die Tasche was ich so mitbekommen habe. Dank 10-band EQ auch super an den eigenen Klanggeschmack anzupassen.

Nach deinen beiden Videos konnte ich die Finger nicht still halten. Hab mir heute Vormittag einen bestellt. Kommt morgen an. Teste ich mal gegen den Revolve, Revolve+ und den Tribit SoundMax Plus. Deine neuen InEar Mics klingen übrigends richtig gut. Als du die Box aus der Verpackung raus genommen hast. Das klang echt realistisch!
