    Hi Oluv, I would like to say a big THANK YOU! Regarding this review I bought Marshall Stockwell II immediately (ofc in grey - which looks much better than black ;) The sound is just AMAZING and I can confirm that it sounds in real exactly the same as in your binaural video! That is really impressive that we can listen and compare audio speakers how they sound in real. So, no matter what haters saying you are doing a great work here and please keep going with it! ...Looking forward for more and more videos

    Just got mine, amazed by the fullness at low to mid volumes and the stereo effect it has. The midrange is also very pleasant and the whole sound signature is cohesive but also a bit exciting. The bass response seems to go as deep if not deeper than my minirig sub, though losses out by a lot with higher volume. Still I find the volume enough for pretty much any use around the house, and is extremely impressive under 80% as you say. I like this more than the tribit maxsound plus.

I need something powerfull (>40W), tried stockwell 2 today but it's too quiet for my needs, while sounds great. Generally I prefer detailsation and flatness over bassboost, but don't mind it as well. So far I found that Harman Kardon (g&p and onyx studio 5) models sound good but maybe you have some other peaces of advice

But, the GGMM E5 has been on sale at Amazon for $75 during weekly lightning deals. Plus, it has LinkPlay WiFi the Stockwell 1 & 2 don't have. So, while I am saving up for the $200-$250 ST 2, I am enjoying my E5 and think it has great sound and features for $75.

    The Marshall is nice. I love balanced sound at low levels. I wish you had a review of the Poweradd Soundfly. It's currently about $21 on eBay. When it first came out, they tried retailing for about $100. It claims to be 40 watts, but barely matches some 20 watt speakers. I guess it's because the unit has 4 drivers. I got one out of curiosity, and while. It's not very loud, I seems to produce composed sound at low levels. It sounds very full for its size. I'm curious what you would think. There are few reviews on here, so maybe I'll get one up.

    Today I tested the marshall (200€) vs tribit max sound plus (got it for 36€). Yeah, the marshall really sounds nice. Open sound, good bass, good clarity. But if you keep in mind that it is a 200€ speaker, the tribit still does a veeery good job. Of corse, not so much bass, more directional sound, not as full sounding, but for this price still very good... I went to a store to compare my tribit against the marshall in a test room. I thought about selling the tribit and buy the marhall instead. But I left without the marshall. Yes, is has better bass and open sound felling, really great sound! But everyone has to ask himself if the advantage is enought for much more money than the cheap but very good tribit. Maybe i will do the change when the marshall is about 150€ or less.

  • @iu1191
    @iu11915 жыл бұрын

    Hi @clavinetjunkie, Great pre-review and comparison. I am really wondering how this would compare to the Beoplay P6. It seems it would be similar as the P6 has the Front/Back Left/Right setup. Please add the P6 to your review and comparison if you can. Additionally, I have a question about the Bose Revolve P{lus speakers. The Bose has only one driver and this has several speakers and amps. Is it not fairer to compare it to the Bose speakers in a stereo pair (even if the pair consists of a revolve and a revolve Plus). Comparing any multi-driver speaker to a single Bose Revolve or revolve plus is Mono vs Stereo which is not a real comparison. Even the Vifa Helsinki has several drivers in it so a comparison with the Bose is unfair when it is not a stereo pair. I recognise that the price comparison makes this a bad comparison for buying but for music technology it is a better comparison ... at least in my opinion. What this means is that Bose is charging us for half a speaker compared to others. This is true. However when they are in a stereo pair - the whole sound is different and with the 360 it makes a difference when you compare them. Again - What do you think? (I must declare my interest, I managed to get two Bose Revolve Plus speakers fairly cheaply (one new and one nearly new) and they are amazing together but alone the difference is very clear. The bose is great alone when it is not being compared with something else but when you compare it with a speaker with more drivers, real stereo and not 360 - the difference becomes significant. I would love to hear your views on the comparison with other stereo setups.) What do you think? Is it even a practical comparison. If at all possible, I would like to see the comparison between the Stockwell, the Minirig with sub and the bose in a stereo pair outside by your pool with your walking around. That would be a very good comparison. Thanks so much for the video - you and your son make a great team!! I look forward to the full review. 🔥🔥🔥

    stockwell 2 is hands down better with lower volumes. The sony xb 33 is also great with lower volumes. But you have to sit directly in front of it to get great sound because it’s not omnidirectional. The stockwell 2, you can be anywhere around it and still get a massive soundstage. It depends if you want a more forward sound, or more of a 3d rich sound. The stockwell 2 is really something different. if you are in a small room, the stockwell 2 is super trippy.

    Charge 3? the best speaker?... I have 2 of them in stereo via aux,fun to listen at, that, s it. I don't like JBL, s partyMUD mode so I do not use that, keeping them in stereo mode via connect plus is a disaster. Than I bought a JBL xtreme 2.(fw 2.0.0) After 2 weeks of listening to the thing I sold it. Only mediocre att best All 3 JBL, 's suffer from severe audio drop outs via auxin. Tested with different sources and cables. This occurs when switching from chapter /track and in silent sound pasages. Only thing that reduces dropouts issues is keeping input volumes as high as possible. Something to consider before buying one of these Jotbell types. Also audiolag is very apparent using Bluetooth. Got me a Teufel Boomster NG. Wich I am trying out now. This is a very good sounding bltht speaker, not only that, but way more loudness! And dab+ on top of it. Me think I keep the Teufel.. for at least 2 months 👍 I can also hear, the. @Oluv, kannst du mir bitte eine Kaufempfehlung geben? Ich schwanke zwischen dem Stockwell 2 und einer einzelnen Minirig 3 + Sub und höre hauptsächlich House, EDM, Alternative und Rock. Verwendung soll die Box hauptsächlich in den folgenden Situationen finden: 1. am See bei leiser Lautstärke 2. an der Seite eines Volleyballfelds (im Freien) bei mittlerer bis mittellauter Lautstärke Ich tendiere momentan eher zum Stockwell 2, weil der sich in deinen Videos für mich differenzierter anhört und anscheinend auch eine größere Bühne zaubert als der Minirig. Vielen Dank jedenfalls für deine Arbeit hier und dein unglaublich hilfreiches Soundvergleichstool!

    @Duduv-54 Magicien Well, leave it to FedEx to delay delivery. My package has been sitting in Lewisberry, PA since 2:30 this morning. It's still there. Maybe tomorrow. I've been using my 2 Douni A5's. They don't link to each other wirelessly, but I connect them both to my Moto X4 with a splitter. The splitter is connected to a FiiO A3 headphone amp and you would be surprised how good it sounds. It gets very loud with a good amount of punch to the bass, but it's still extremely clear. I eq the music with the REEQ app from my phone. It really does sound spectacular, especially considering l paid $30 for the one speaker and $40 for the other. I haven't gotten past seven and a half out of 9 on my A3 amp. I'm affaid I'll see speaker material flying out of my A5's 😊

    Keine Ahnung, es gibt auch keinen “SPL Modus” zumindest nicht offiziell, das was sich da einige Freaks als Low frequency mode oder SPL Mode hinstellen, ist im Grunde ein Service Modus nicht für den Enduser gedacht einige haben sich damit auch schon die Lautsprecher ruiniert.

    Try Dual Audio within smartphone settings. I just ordered a second Stockwell II to test. Dual Audio results in too much latency with pr of Doss XL's, Kenwood BT's, Riva S's and Turbo X's..but pr of Bose Mini II's work fine. Both channels are identical but of course bass deeper and soundstage expanded. For Stockwell II stereo use 3.5 splitter cables.
