I have had a lot of success with using a long shank hook with the same rig set up. I have always liked the blow back rig, when everything else fails this rig can produce 🙏👍😉

It's a great rig and you can be very versatile with the hook pattern, Mark likes the Curve Short as he 'extends the shank' with the shrink tube :)

Harry what would your style of bottom bait rig be? Compared to Mr carpys. As I use this on a lot and had good success with its design

Interesting, why you take curve short and extend them with shrink tube? Take the long shank hook :)

The shorter shank hooks are stronger. So if you need a really strong setup but want the rig mechanics of a long shank hook this is what to do

You said this was the same as Pitchers rig!? You missed two very important key steps!!! A dollop of Yorkshire charm and a splodge of sarcasm must be included or it'll never perform as well as Marks! 🤣
