    chilly has got to be one of my favourite anglers to watch when you see him talking rigs from day 1 he has not changed his end tackle bar some components and that is a lesson in its self 👍

    As a 51 year old man who has rediscovered the love of fishing, your videos a quite simply fantastic. Simple to follow and well articulated visually and verbally. This old dog has certainly learned some new tricks. Thanks.

    Great videos all of them, changed the way I fish for the better, please could you tell me why some hooklinks in carp fishing are heavier breaking strain than the main line? I was always taught as a kid that the hooklink breaking strain should be lower than the main line so the fish only takes the hook link if the line breaks, but I see on many videos that people are using higher hooklinks breaking stains than the main line, could you explain this please as I think I am missing something?

    Can someone tell me as I am new to Carp fishing how the bottom bait rig is attached? To a leader? Lead clip? quick change swivel???

  • @rickysavage6283
    @rickysavage62834 жыл бұрын

    You attached the swivel onto the rig but never said how you get in onto the main line, do you have to take the lead off and thread the swivel on every time ?

    Followed this to the letter and ended up with an 8 inch rig. It looks good, but I have two observations. Firstly, the rig doesn't seem to catch very often when I pull it across my palm, is that an issue? Secondly, the exposed braid is 2" in length, which is very different to what chilly days on his video. He said 1-2cm. I followed the good exactly and double checked it. How come I end up with 2" exposed braid and do I need to re do it to make it more effective?

    its not like only Fox is making fishing line and stuff you know? they dont even sell stuff like this in my country, but i am not complaining. they are the one who paid to have this video done, this sure beat trying to find a random bloke making an hour long video with shakey camera and stuff.
