The multitude of different cultures in our world is so rich and beautiful. The marks are called cauliflowers. Some people avoid them and work hard to do so. There are tutorials on KZread on how to avoid them. You embrace them and that is beautiful. It is a part of the nature of watercolor paint. It makes sense to use that quality in the paint.

I celebrate Christmas because it is Jesus birthday and HE is my Savior. I celebrate with whatever color I'm in the mood for. In the past I have had a white tree with teal and purple ornaments. I guess you can use any color you like. I love your painting. So pretty. Have a great week.😊

That was a lovely walk through a Narnia like landscape! I’m not surprised that it put you in a Christmas mood! I am glad to hear that you are feeling more relaxed. My favourite festive colours are jewel bright purple, blue and green. Many years ago I painted some glass containers in those colours and we use them for little candles at Christmas. Loved the opening sequence! You looked so happy! Your painting so reminded me of an old set of glass ornaments I received from my grandmother. They were silver balls with hand painted stripes very much in the same colors you used except with a little fuschia and turquoise thrown in for good measure! 😉 The finished piece is ah-mazing!! ❤ Happy Christmas!

Loved your intro, and your painting is just gorgeous! I love everything going on in it and it feels very festive and glorious! I celebrate the birth of Christ and I think of velvety indigo blue, sparkling, light-catching metallics like the stars. Of course, I also associate green, red and white with Christmas as I free up with that custom. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas !🌲

Love this! Question for you: I looked on Amazon at the arabic gold ~~ and I see that 'honey' is one of the ingredients in the paint. Does that make the paint smell like honey??

Thank you ❤️☺️ And, I love this question! I love bees and confession: I don't usually like the smell (or taste) of honey. Thankfully (for me), these little paints don't smell like honey at all otherwise I might have to guard them from my hubby 😂

Gabrielle, did you get your watercolors as a set or did you get pans and assemble it?

Hi ❤️🤗 I usually buy my watercolors in tubes and fill my paint pans as I go along. I found this Arteza palette on Amazon that I really like (I now own 2 😂) and I fill it with my favorite colors. (Here's the link: amzn.to/47TOux5). I like using this type of palette because I can create my own palette of colors. And sometimes, they also give a home to paints that are sold in a paint pan but don't really have a place to be held (like my Kremer watercolors for instance). If you're curious about the colors in my palette, don't forget to check out my video descriptions as I usually list the paints I used in my video. I hope this helps!
