I actually used to work for the studio's owners many, many years ago when they owned Vicarious Visions. It was honestly the best work culture that I have ever been apart of. You’re most likely joking but If your serious then it would never work. There are chips in the kart that connect from the camera to the phone. You won’t be able to just transport the camera on another car.

Track Ideas for the non-creative: 1. Laundry Room Landing: Basicly a track in a laundry room, with some small jumps 2. Water Raceway: Put some blue paper down and make a bridge on the blue paper. That will be a lake/river. If you want better water, but a higher chance of breaking the game, use a pond. 3. Bowser's Bunkbed Castle: Use the lava theme on the game while making the track under a bed that you have to climb up 4. Boo's Basement: Make a track in your basement with some slight jumps. 5. Techno Terror: Make a track that goes around and on electronics. 6. Mattress Mirror: Use a mattress and some small mirrors, as well as boards to create illusions and the boards for a track 7. Paper Jungle: use paper machè to create trees, while the racers drive on leaves on the trees. ~Warning~ If you fall this can break your game 8. Trainset Circuit: Find a made trainset and make a track that goes on the train tracks. The hazard is the Train. 9. Bowser Jr's Pillow Fort: Make a pillow fort, and make a track inside it. For more of this track, make the track go outside the fort for a quick second, then go back in. 10. Kamek's Cursed Tower Boss Fight: Make a jenga tower, then try to knock the tower over by ramming into the tower, while on the kamek theme, and avoiding hazards. Shape the stage like Big Donut, with the tower in the middle. 11. Luigi's Haunted Homes: Make a track that starts in your house, then goes out a window and into your neighbors house thru another window. Put a checkpoint in the neighbors house, so nobody can cheat. For decoration, place small boos. 12. Trap Tricks: Make some traps you can trigger, by ramming into a pillar or whatnot. Make a bridge shortcut, but the bridge CAN be destroyed by a trap 13. Pet Palooza: Make a long track while your pets are the course hazard. Best Hazard: Cat 14. Whomp's Domino Ruins: Jungle theme, while having dominos as traps. If you destroy some of the track, the entire track is destroyed. Be Careful! 15. Clothing Cap: First make the track. then replace some of the track with holes, with clothes covering the holes. Cover the entire track with clothes. 16. Kitchen Khaos: Create a track using stuff from your kitchen, while the track is in the Kitchen. 17. Bathroom Bob-ombs: Make a track in your bathroom, if you have some lego mario bob-ombs, use them as decoration 18. Lego Mario Kart: Use Lego Mario sets to create your track. The piranha plant slide cart as a course hazard, Goombas blocking the way, it dont matter! 19. Origami Outpost: The Origami is back, make a track out of paper, and make some Traps Olly prepared! Thats the track! 20. Cat Boss Fight: Charge at your cat until the cat flees. This boss may last long, but try to scare away the cat! If you survive you win! 21. Garage Gateway

Yeah, but this is always relative. And it's not just about when you were born, but also where. Majority of the kids in most countries in the world were jealous of the western kids having awesome toys like HotWheels and Gameboy. If you had these during your childhood you were the tiny minority of the luckiest kids on the planet.

I'm in my 30s and pre-ordered this. Not because I'm keen to race around my own home (my youngest cat would end that fun pretty quickly), but because I work in a library, and in addition to the shelves, tables and chairs, we also have a service desk and some boards for a sweet two-level track. My other coworkers, also in or approaching their 30s, are gonna love it.

I remember back in my old days when I used to play hot wheels. I had to make the whole layout by hand and use my muscles to drive the cars. Now everything is automatic. Time flies man.

@NohrPaladin It solely depends on how large the space is between the checkpoints. If the racetrack is small to begin with, it'll only waste time. But on larger tracks it can save somewhere around 8 seconds. However, the Hand has some end lag that becomes longer the larger the racetrack is and even involves RNG. The Hand's animation cycle is on average 2.86 seconds (on large tracks), but sometimes it can end soon, or late. We're still figuring out what's the minimum and maximum amounts of frames the Hand takes to place us back on the track. It's really difficult to datamine the game, so we have to find that out through trial and error.
