I'm amazed that I've never seen any marketing for this. I only found this video completely by chance, but this is once again Nintendo innovation at its finest. This is honestly brilliant, and has insane potential for the future. I hope it does well enough for Nintendo--and maybe other companies--start incorporating the concept into other games.

What impressed me the most is the steering assist. And I really hope for more karts. I guess it was smart to limit it to two before they find out if it takes off but I would have loved to see at least four different designs like add Peach and Daisy.

Honestly the biggest issue I see with the game is that each player has to have their own switch. Many families that would have loved to play this together will be disappointed that their family-shared switch is only capable of supporting a single racer.

The technology in this game is amazing and I'm happy that we finally have a "Mario Kart Maker" of sorts. The customization options for the bros. look good, too, but the lack of characters is a real shame. I don't like these toy game hybrids Nintendo is putting out, either, so I'm not getting it, but this definitely looks good for those who are.

I feel like this would be awesome if it wasn’t an RC car and was just a normal Mario Kart game. New costumes? New karts? A COURSE CREATOR?! I swear this would be a Mario Kart fan’s dream if it was a real Mario Kart game.

Baconburg Yeah, but not really. It’s a Mario Kart game about as much as Tour, or VR. Tour and VR’s features are great, but Tour is just too dominated by its Gacha-y ness (and in my opinion dumb controls), and VR is literally a Comic-con stand. Likewise, Live is an RC car. If it wasn’t an RC-car, it’d be even better than 8 Deluxe, but deep down, it’s an RC-car, and nothing can change that. I’m not saying this isn’t an awesome game, I’m just saying it can’t really be played normally. The next traditional Mario Kart should re-use these assets to make it even more awesome!

@@mistbee917 It’s so frustrating. I wish Nintendo wouldn’t spend all their time making this, when they’d make so much more money if they just put the same amount of effort into making Mario Kart 9, or at least a Mario Kart Wii remake. That’d be much better than whatever this is.

4:34 Looks like the game is displayed on the TV in the corner. I really hope this means that we can play the game docked in single player! Would make it much easier to record the game ;)

Although this looks incredible, I don't think I'll be getting this as I don't really have the space to set up this type of thing. I hope that the same sort of energy goes into whatever the next Mario Kart is though! Weather variations especially could be a simple cosmetic change in future entries.

I know it's a bit expensive but really for what you get, it's not that bad. It's a full game and a remote controlled car with augmented reality. I'm not saying it's a steal but you could do worse spending $100 on other Nintendo stuff just sayin'
