Marie Osmond is one of those entertainers I wouldn't mind having as a friend or neighbor. And for me, that's a very short list. (I have no idea if any of them would want me as a friend or neighbor.) The amount of entertainment this woman has delivered the years, and always with class, is astounding.

I liked her comment about being ethical. I once worked at a company where part of our implementation of being ethical was that we would be a "no surprise business." That meant "no surprises to customers, employees, vendors, anybody." Because "surprises" so often tend to not be good for the one surprised. That ties in perfectly with her comment that she is AGAINST the notion of "It is easier to aske forgiveness than permission." I think there are a handful of people in the entertainment business, like her, who should be giving lessons to all the rest who are mostly ego inflated and selfish and empty inside.

Marie, I am 65 +, been following you for years, you are very real Marie. You share your successes but you also share your pain in reality. Thanks for just simply being you , the grounded Lady that you are. You are wise beyond your years and tree circles, lol.

She has had so much work done on her face that she doesn't look like herself anymore, and yet she tries to come off as if it's nothing but beauty secrets? Come on, Marie! Joan Rivers at least admitted two plastic surgery. She never tried to hide it or play it off.

I don't believe her mother told her to clean toilets after working 18 hours. Their manager wouldn't allow it.. She's an actress and they wanted to project an image. Marie worked when she was a mother, didn't have food in their house for her children, and her son felt unloved and committed suicide. It's an argument for stay at home mother's or work at home mother's.

Why does she still want to look like she did in highschool? Just saw her on a commercial and her eyebrows were triple in size... over sized hair... surgery on her face. 😮
