I like how parents used to keep their celebrity children down to earth in the 70's and 80's. They taught them to be respectful and responsable and these celebrities became great stars, unlike young celebrities nowadays who do whatever they want and end up on the road of drugs and excess destroying what might be a successful career

SO TRUE I AM PART OF THAT GENERATION

I met Marie at one of her book signings. I’ve never been to any book signing, so this is saying a lot. I chatted with her, she is drop dead gorgeous in person, no joke! Her skin, her features, just flawless. And she was genuinely very kind and sweet, very authentic! BTW, I’m 5’6”, she had super high heels on (I did too), she was quite a bit shorter than me, if anyone is curious.

First time ever seeing this woman and she seems incredibly lovely. So down to earth.

You can be beautiful naturally ----- look at Betty White when she was on Golden Girls . forgot to mention she used to have gorgeous hair and her smile was megawatts bright! Now the wigs are all the same exact, and her smile... well, I totally miss the one she used to have in her pre-botox days. Her plastic surgeon must have a wing in his house named after her. This is not aging with any kind of grace. I'm thrilled her singing is still wonderful!

It's her life, her money so who cares. Would you enjoy comments made about your choices? Just quietly watch or don't watch, it's up to you.

View is not the same without her. You can not and should not have everyone of the same opinion on a show. If Sharon & Sheryl went management they should be a shamed of themselves. Their opinion is not the only one that counts.

The show is called "The Talk", not "The View". I hope the Sharon & Sheryl rumor isn't true. If it is, I feel bad. Marie is polite and respectful - that's the way she was raised. I remember Oprah said that the Osmonds were the nicest guests she ever had on her show. Oprah crew said that they were so easy to work with and there were no egos with them . . . and I believe it.

I think she looks great. If she has had plastic surgery, it looks pretty good to me. She is a kind, honest person.

Of course she has had plastic surgery. Some that age and no saggy wrinkly skin. Think about it.

There’s a reason she has been in the public eye since she was a kid. People like her, she never says anything negative about anyone. BUT I’m not too cool with ridiculous plastic surgery- I can tell you those extremely bright lights can ruin your skin. I can’t stand it when they go to the level that makes u guess for a minute “wait. Who’s that again?”

Notice how many men find Marie attractive and some women are so unhappy and mean. She looks so good in red!!

I adore her. In another interview someone asked her about being one of America's sweethearts and whether or not she was aware of the unspeakable things that go on in Hollywood. Her reply was spot on: something to the effect of "If you think after being in this business for thirty some years, a young person Hasn't witnessed any and everything, the only naive one, is You." :) and THAT is entirely true! I don't care if she's had plastic surgery. Though her plastic surgeon didn't make her upper lip look normal, lets be real. But Marie herself, has brought more joy to households in the good ol days than any you tuber could begin to comprehend.

Her lips are overdone with filler, the upper lip covers up her nice dental work and it makes her smile look different. Unfortunately, women of a certain age who still want to have a career on TV have to do all kinds of cosmetic work on their face to keep themselves looking young. Most end up distorting their looks.

She actually does look like an older Selena Gomez.

She used to be on the cover of Tiger Beat throughout the 70s, had a variety show with her brother in the 70s, had a few hit songs, sold dolls on QVC, has done a huge amount for children's hospitals, and fainted on Dancing With the Stars.

My mother was the youngest of eleven too!

She is one of the few females who can complain about men who only listen to half of what women say, because Marie is the kind of female who would freely admit half of what women say is Jibber Jabber.

Marie and her brother Donnie both have had a s-load of work done to their face (and Marie has had work done below the neck too). Look at the rest of the Osmond brothers for comparison.
