I've watched this video several times and I still don't understand why anyone would ask that question "Did he pay for it?". If a man asks you to marry him...obviously he's going to buy the ring.

Im glad Sherri told Barbara that Nick was very successful before he met Mariah. I was shocked to find out that he was as successful as he is. Ive always looked at him at a little geeky guy trying to make it in the entertainment world. Little did I know that he is involved in ALOT of things and has mucho $$$$ from his investments and business ventures..his pockets are just as deep as Mariah's.
