Absolutely agree! I went thru some shizz recently and have a new respect for this song! And this performance was raw. You can tell she is still feelin' the lyrics she is singing! Awesome performance!

When Mariah gives a bad live performance, people say she can't sing anymore. When she gives a good live performance, people says she lip-sang. Some people are just always gonna have somthing negative to say. GO MARIAH!

This song is absolutely amazing, and that performance was excellent, people really need to stop comparing her to her previous performances, past is past, and if you don't like it then don't listen to it. Everyone's voice changes over time, it's a natural fact that she is not going to sound the same as she did back in her twenties. Her performances are emotional and heart warming, something critics in the 1990's always accused her of lacking, people need to keep their negativity to themselves.

She can do what she likes, she doesn't need to please anyone but herself, and she does by creating the music that she writes, produces and enjoys.

Mariah dosen't lip-sync her songs... what I noticed it lots of her new music has voice overs 'cause she sings many different parts of the song and puts it together as one... so when she sings live, she may be singing along with a background karaokee version 'cause she can't sing all of her parts at once!!! I think she did a good job, I just really miss hearing the Mariah from the Butterfly album. That tour she did? Flawless. Omg. I guess we'll never hear that voice again, but I know it's because of the vocal nodules/stress/etc. Still love her no matter what! Memoirs is a great CD too!
