This film did not do just Marcus Garvey. Those who think that he should be a businessman are ludicrous. He is great because of his vision, his ideas, and race-first approach, His business failed not because of his ideas, but because of the viciousness of those who infiltrated UNIA with a purpose to destroy him. That commentary about him not being a good businessman should be taken out of the film. Emphasis should be placed on those who tried to destroy him. He was not a corrupt leader who live in wealth and a pompous life. When he died he had only $40 and one stock to show as his net worth.
