Im born in buddhist family and right now im 28+ years old. When i was a kid i watched Ramayan with my grandma grandpa cousins friends and neighbours. we watched on black and white tv that runned on battery and antenna.. Not all owned tv at that era. one or two family in a village. Luckily one of our neighbour had and we were blessed to watch it. I still remember the intro music Ramayan❤.. And im not goin to watch this adhipurush to damage the memories that i have of old Ramayan❤..

Manoj Muntashir is not defending himself, he is just GASLIGHTING the audience into thinking ki we are the problem for not liking this disappointment.

I feel some people are trying to discourage the producers not to try further to make epic movies like this...did we miss the moral in the movies even if there are some mistakes..director and actors tried to show modern Rama for the modern age and introduce Rama to to the world on his ethics...plz underatnad this support this movie...my kid loved the movie and going for the second time..plz encourage the producers to make such movies again and again...

I totally agree with you Shan, Prabhu Shri Ram never insulted Ravana, infact It’s a historic fact that Lord Rama was very impressed with Ravana’s knowledge and wisdom-which is why after defeating him, he praised Ravana and deputed brother Lakshmana to seek the blessings of the dying Ravana. Lakshman obeyed his brother’s order and stood near dying Raavan’s head. But Raavan did not say anthing and Lakshman returned to Rama. Rama then told Lakshman that whenever one wants to learn something from a person, you should never stand near his head, but his feet. This time, Lakshman went to Ravan and stood near his feet. Seeing Lakshman’s humble posture, Ravan started revealing to him the secrets of ethics, politics and Niti shastra. What is remarkable is that most of Ravan’s wisdom is valid even in today’s world. 1 - The first thing Raavan told Lakshman was that one should complete any auspicious work as soon as possible and keep delaying the inauspicious work as much possible. शुभस्य शीघ्रम् (Shubhasya Shighram). Shubhasya shighram, ashubhasya kalaharanam’- when there will be good desire, we should do it immediately 2-He further told that one should never underestimate one's enemies. He believed that the monkeys and bears would never be able to conquer him, but it were those monkeys and the bears alone, which were the major supporters of Lord Ram. He did not realize that these were divine incarnations. Goodness worked and they succeeded in bringing his pride to an end. Underestimating them was Ravana's mistake. Hence, one must never underestimate one's enemy. 3- - The final thing Raavan told Lakshman that one should not reveal one’s life secret to anyone in the world. He made mistake as Vibhishan know the secret of his death.

Look I am a huge anime fan, and i love yugo sako work. He had done extreme research on indian culture, clothes, art etc to implement those things in his movies. But it wasnt accurate. There is no scence of Bali, even hanuman 1st met Ram as pujari but here hanuman met in his original form, no scence of Akshay, angad proclamation of heaving his leg, Ram never used chakra to kill ravan also in his ramayana bibhisan never share the secret of Ravan's life residing in its naval. So it is not perfect that all are claiming to be, but the effort put in it cant be denied and it is this anime version which spark curiousity in many gen z and millenials like us about Ramayana.

@@loveouutube We have.. And with family. I can still share more details than many. We had a society before 2104. We watched Ramayana, Mahabharat, Om Namah Shivay, Mahabali Karn, Jai Hanuman and so on. We grew up with the culture.

I don't know how BJP and RSS the so called protectors of Hindu dharma and Sanathan allowed this film Adhipurush to release.

I noticed one thing in this video that Shan didn’t use a single bad word.. he is also showing the respect to lord Rama in such way..❤❤❤❤

In 2013's Star Plus Mahabharata, dignified hindi has been used. And it was totally understandable to young audiences.

12:15 One more fun fact: After Raavan, when Raavan was lying on the ground and taking his last breaths, Bhagwan Shri Ram told Laxman to go to Raavan and seek important life lessons about the nature of the politics and war because despite becoming an egoistic oppressor, he was the biggest Pandit and greatest warrior that existed at that time before anything else. Shri Ram knowing this instructs Laxman to seek advice from Raavan therefore giving him respect and homage to his greatness in his final moments. There is a beautiful scene described in Shri Valmiki's Ramayan that, At first Laxman goes and stands towards the head of Raavan and asks him to give advice. Raavan replies with nothing. Laxman asks Shri Ram "why is Raavan not saying anything?" Then Shri Ram explains to Laxman that this is not the way to gain knowledge from anyone. If you want to gain knowledge from anyone you have to surrender yourself to them and be at their feet and have a noble tone to ask for knowledge. Laxman does that and gets the advice for his lifetime. Such beautiful and dignified is Shri Ram and so is our Ramayan, and then come these guys....🤦

As a gen z, I can say that our generation has better knowledge of Ramayan than the makers of Adipurush and almost every Indian kid irrespective of religion knows the story of Ramayana so to portray it in such a way with the excuse of "connecting with the youth" is just a lame excuse for their own incompetence. Also, even if we assume that the youth has no idea about Ramayana then it's their duty to show the right story and correct facts. Sone ki lanka ko koile ka khadaan banake rakha hai, uske aage ab kya hi bolu.

The funny thing is he is not at all apologetic. The blunder is so obvious. But it's not about him alone. The dialogues were finalised by Om Raut, their whole unit, the editors and even the censor board. Why didn't any of these people realise what they have made? Why was the censor board silent about it?

What i believe is that if we are touching an epic this pious like Ramayan we need to keep our creativity at home.. I am a sikh and being born in 90’s as well i grew up watching Ramayan.. but watching this new version hurts my feelings too.. Ramanand sagar’s Ramayan will remain in everyone hearts that’s the power of making,that being from different religions people love to see this masterpiece. But adipursh destroyed the purity of it. We all must stand together to stop this madness and boycott this.

I'm a Christian, when I was a kid I remember watching cartoon ramayana, i got to know hanuman ji's other name Maruti through it. I watched it so many times I remember it till now. The ruined something so beautiful and divine and dragged it down to a sadakchapp street play ( No disrespect to the Gods) This is a shameful yet sad what Om raut and manoj muntashir have done to the tale. They played and mocked with not just hindu but whole bharat's sentiments. I hope they face charges and never get to make another film.

I will tell one thing..when I watched Ramanad Sagar's Ramayan during lockdown i felt love for everyone including Rawana. It's because he was a scholar a good king who was driven by ego. I felt respect for him too. Manoj here saying that he wants to disregard Rawana knowingly is itself a proof how much ignorant he is towards Ramayan. Ramanad Sagar's Ramayan was the best because it showed us the grey part of everyone's personality not just black and white.

I went to see a theatre drama at Privthi theatre, Mumbai. Name of drama was “RAM”. In that, a person act superbly as Hanuman. Literally, he alone got standing ovation by all the audiences. ❤ When we came out, we had a photo with him, he was still in Hanuman ji attire. I congratulated him for him superb performance, took selfie and asked for his name. He replied “IMRAN”. Yaar,, respect aur badh gyi ❤❤

Hanuman's inner child was aways shown through his actions, not his words. He literally brought a mountain because it was easier, when he was told to only eat the fruits that are on the ground he shook large trees so fruits would fall, like the funniest moments in the whole story are involving hanuman and he still spoke like a scholar/first bencher kid. The easiest story they could adapt but somehow they made it bad.

I'm a Muslim from another country but in my childhood I watched Yugo sir's Ramayan. I was totally blown away and instantly fallen in love with it. I begged my father to buy a dvd of that film and I used to watch it frequently. After growing up my fascination still remained and I used to read lots of book about Ramayan. Even I used to read comics about Hanumanji in my childhood. I was really excited when I heard about adipurush but I was totally disappointed and even disgusted by this film. I wonder, If I watched Adipurush instead of Yugo sir's Ramayan would that make such positive impact on me? I absolutely don’t think so. I'm glad I was introduced to Ramayan by Yugo sir and not by this Adipurush team.

@@prathamsalvi4027 I think this is a terrible idea. Rajamouli is a great film maker but his style is not suitable to adapt the sacred texts. It will end up like Adipurush again.

I didn't watch Adipurush and will never watch. It's my request to Bollywood to stop making films now.

I really liked the part where Ram said it's Adipurushing time and adipurushed all over ravan. Truly one of the films of all time.

I think ravaan should visit him in his dreams like he did to jethalal😂😂😂. He will come to his senses then after one or two strikes.

I try my best to understand the maker's POV always. Lekin yaar, Mere mood ka bhi Bhosada kar Diya yeh movie ne. How can you ruin a perfectly plotted story! One of My fondest memories is watching Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan every weekend with my entire family. Kuch to seekh lete usse..

This is exactly where all of us need to raise voice. I dont understand why andhbhakts are so silent now ? ab sentiments hurt nhi ho rhe andhbhakton ke ? Doglepann ki hadd hai....... Yahan Adipurush jaesi ghatiya movie khule aam humare religion ki bezatti kr rhi hai.... and....andhbhakts are silent.

I really appreciate Yugo Sako sir who was a Japanese, he literally spent 6 years for the research and gave us a spectacular animated movie back then. Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan was just an unforgettable experience for us..Their team executed the serial so elegantly that its memories still linger in my brain..🙂

One Fact to know : 1992 Japanese Animated film "The Legend of Prince Rama" by Yugo Sako, was banned in India, Due you know why?? because VHP opposed for its screening as it was made by "Videshi", how they can show its "moolchitran" , later it got worldwide success, "Videshiyon ne b praan foonk diye the animation characters se"

From the point of view of the original Ramayana, Ravana was never a tyrannical and greedy king. Ravana was kind to his people and he was a very wise sage, he was also a kind king. Ravana has never been this bad. I don't know but we have misconception about Ravana. That does not mean that Sri Ram is being proven guilty.

I speak Malayalam. I never heard a word of Hindi apart from in school through much of my life. I only recently began to enjoy Hindi films. I am still able to understand the dialogues in Ramanand Sagar’s take on the Ramayana because there are many words common to both Hindi and Malayalam, which originate in Sanskrit. I will watch the Hindi-dubbed version of the anime Ramayana film as well sometime later. The idea that ordinary people won’t be able to understand highly poetic or sanskritised Hindi is nonsense. This is a problem that not only affects stuff like “Adipurush”, but this goes across other religions as well. I am a Christian, and in our worship, we sing songs that are older than our grandparents even. These songs are beautiful to listen to and have great lyrics, with highly poetic language and sometimes even Tamil and Sanskrit vocabulary included. Unfortunately, modern Christian music uses the most bland, basic words to write songs, thinking that normal people won’t be able to learn and appreciate songs with highly dignified vocabulary. This is very sad.

To giving such statements and defending such dialogues to respectable figures is just utter shame. The over confidence cum arrogance of the director also played a big part in downfall

03:03 that same mistake even brahmastra guys did. They thought we needed to modernize the way dialogues are written. But it was not the case. With proper Hindi, impact is high from dialogues. One of the good example is bahubali... Yaar ye light light kya hota h, bhai agni bhari word hai...

We all Indians have very good childhood memories with Ramayana & this Adipurush was really unjustified. This movie should be forgotten & a re-release of the Japanese Animated should happen across all theatres. Indian Govt. should buy the rights for it from Japan totally.

They could have added recent studies like Ravan ki Lanka being made of yellow stones which when using the sand and rock technique to polish stones, like the Egyptians did for the pyramids, the stones would be polished and glow like gold or even Ravan's vimaan using sounds (Navneet's vlogs on Angkor Wat) or para/Mercury used in the vimaan (Hawaizada starring Aayushmaan Khurana), for the vimaan to fly, but oh well. Modern means disfiguring everything to them. Sad to say India & Sri Lanka were such a modern societies at that time.

Its a matter of dedication. During Ramanand Sagarji's era special effect was at primitive stage. It was not trend among actors being shredded. Imagine what he could have made if Ramanandji got help of today's VFX

Ask him to see kurukshetra , kannada movie. Which was a super duper hit movie. Kurumshetra is made on mahanbharath.
