Why doesn't Manny ever tell the story of Nikolai Volkolf knocking his drunk ass out?

Manny has always seemed to be a bullshitter, and now it has been confirmed. Saying that Stan was pissed at Vader and that's what lead up to the eyeball incident. All you have to do is hear Stan's story on it to know that nothing that Manny said about it is true.

That's an understatement. The Orndorff incident was due to Vader not coming to do an interview. And Gary Albright? They were friends and even worked a program together. Gee whiz this guy is something else.

He's kind of correct. Although some guys work stiff, the purpose of it is to make it look real without actually beating the crap out of someone. Early on, Vader did not know how to do that. He was hurting guys more than he should have, like Goldberg did early on in his career. He became much better as his career progressed while still working stiff.

Man I could listen to this guy all day with his stories. I wonder how he remains sane with all his good friends dying early like Rick Rude, Gary Albrieght etc

Saw Vader version and sound more believable. He said he gave basically gave Ordorff 3 free shots to minimize the trouble for slapping Orndorff first . Orndoff was a much smaller guy at this point . Cost Vader 400 k

tell you what. for a guy 350lbs to 400lbs do a somersault from the top rope is pretty freaking awesome. vader was a bully it's been known forever.

Fernandez has so much sour grapes, because he saw all these young guys surpass him in the business.

The worst lie I've heard about this story was from Hogan: Hogan said orndoff was completely naked and beat Vader unmercifully....odd enough his version is the only one that makes orndoff naked

Still so bizarre to me what Orndorff allowed to happen to himself. A successful D1 college RB, drafted in the NFL, but was injured and came to the wrestling business shortly after. I assume that he knew better than the average wrestler about conditioning and how to take care of his body. He completely disregarded his neck injury and caused permanent injury by working through it for years. I didn't even realize until recently that he wrestled through the mid 90s with that bad right arm dangling. It's painful to watch that bc of my memories of Orndorff in the 80s. He was the body! When Warrior and Rick Rude were still in WCCW, Orndorff was by far the top body in the WWF. To see him like that and knowing that he went against what everyone told him bc he didn't want to take time off. Sad.

Ya know the more and more shoot videos I watch the more I realize that most pro wrestlers are liars

You don't have to think you're a tough guy to be a tough guy. Darsow is huge and very strong. Can dead lift a ton. He'd win in a lot of fights. It's the same as you aren't tough just because you think you are. Know plenty of people who think they're tough and they're not.

TheNotbadphonedaddy Barry is low key is what I meant. Barry said in an interview that he wasn't a "fighter" or the "fighting type" but he would throw it down if he had too. He said that Rick Ride was a good guy but he was the fighter and the tough guy of the bunch. Most of the guys knew not to cross Rick. Barry didn't really have that impression on people because he was quite calm.

Kruschev or Darsow went to high school with Henning, Rude, Nikita Koloff, Tom Zenk, Road Warrior Animal, Nord the Barbarian, and Scott Norton. They all bounced at Grandma Bee's with Hawk, a notorious bar in Minnesota. All were tough guys

When tells stories about Wahoo, or shitting on Dusty, but turning around later and praising him. He claims to have trained Magnum TA, but TA went to Oregon after Buzz Sawyer and then San Antonio. By the time Manny got to San Antonio...Magnum was in Florida working for Dusty. Dusty had him train in the ring every night with Scott MaGee, plus had him spar with Windham. By the time Manny returned, Magnum was with Watts. Manny says he owes his career to Murdoch , Wahoo, and Terry Funk. Thing is Manny wasn't a star until Dusty booked him, even when he shit on Rhodes, he booked Manny in great angles.

People can say what they want to about Manny but he is no punk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
