Sickest fork on the planet! I have swapped two more expensive Rock Shox Forks for Manitou ones on two bikes and I never regret this decisions.

i love it when these people actually know what they are talking about, also helps if you basically designed the product. looks awesome

I've used a few manitou forks, and they still making innovative products. They only issue I found is that their costumer services is not so personal as other brands

I've been waiting to for this fork for a while. Mattoc was so much better than anything from Rockshox or Fox, But I have 180 fork and truncheon shock in my current bike. Good bye Lyrik and Super Deluxe! :)

Question: if fork gets bottomed out doesn't the rear arch hit the frame bottom tube?

No... Because the stanchions are longer than the rated travel

3:50 I spotted bullshit ha ha ha. I tell you how it happened: we have a saying in Poland - "paper will accept everything" meaning you can write any bullshit and paper will not discriminate, it will just accept it. And that's how many "breakthroughs" are achieved.

Mezzer or Mattoc Pro at 160mm travel? Was thinking maybe the 37mm stanchion of the Mezzer would be too stiff at 160mm travel.

Wow big words XD ("This Manitou was the first suspension company on the planet ..." ) sure ... First fork is the RS 1 from Rock Shox, (Marzocchi made suspension forks since 1949, not for mtb but formula 1 and motorbikes) and the first hidraulic mtb disc brake is Shimano's vintage brake from mid-70s. So 2 out of 2 wrong ... Nice marketing video but too many bullshit for who knows something about suspension forks, inertia...

Shame, he told lies, maybe he is misinformed, or just tells a script, but it's a shame, and he makes him self look misinformed or making stuff up, which is bad marketing in my eyes, marketing for stupid people work only if you can fool stupid people, without them researching or without other people stepping in, which you did.

@@johnbelushi5329 not what I meant, I meant the fake history lesson is bs, not the details about the for those are actually facts, which are great.

Then why comment on it, if you just came and watched this video to do so, you have no place here. Seems like someone is either jealous or just loves being a know it all. Neither types of people i like. I love manitous forks, but i have rockshox and fox forks as well and i think that they are for different riders. Brand does not matter in my eyes. Love ur work.

I have no problem with the product or brand (i have manitou shock, and fork too).I have problem only with the guy, who know not so much about mtb parts history, or he just braggadocious. I don't like when someone try to mislead, and lying for any reason (marketing, promoting or whatever), be proud what they have made in the past and what going to improve in the future, but don't say that not true. Maybe he would have done better, if not went on the history line of the brands.
