Manitou Mezzer Pro - How to change travel

Спорт

In this video I'm showing you how to adjust the travel on a Manitou Mezzer Pro.,
These forks come out of the box at 180mm and can be adjusted down to 140mm.
Manitou provides the necessary spacers to adjust travel and you can adjust down in 10mm increments. What is awesome is that it is actually a really simple process. The unedited version of this video took around 12 minutes to do the travel reduction, however it can be done in well under ten minutes when not explaining each step.
I hope I didn't miss any steps or make anything too confusing sounding. Let me know in the comments if this was helpful and what you think of your Manitou Mezzer Pro!
Thank you for watching and really hope you enjoyed this video!

    does the travel adjustment change the axle to crown measurement or just restrict the amount the fork can compress?

    Well I enjoy that it is really damn light, and has 37mm stanchions. I haven't had enough time on the trail with it yet (thanks to winter) to really get a good feel of it compared to other forks, but my first impressions are that it is really really rad! I'll keep you updated on the fork as I get to ride it though!

    Good video. I am thinking about getting a Mezzer fork. I would drop it down to 140mm travel. Do you notice any difference in ride quality after reducing travel? Thanks.

  • @Tkolbo_

    @Tkolbo_

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yo, so I’ve only ridden it at 160 now, but I’m sure it’ll ride just the same! Except at 140mm it’ll be even more stiff and predictable which is awesome! Also it’s important to note that the air pressure recommendations printed on the fork are for it at 180mm travel. So there are different recs for reduced travel. I put a link to Hayes site for that in the description! At 140mm of travel this fork will seriously slay! Thanks for watching and for the question!

  • @pauls3616

    Thanks for replying. I like the idea of having a fork that can serve as a 140 mm trail fork or do a travel change and have a 170 mm enduro fork for a day at the bike park. Now I just need to find a Mezzer.
