I honestly only have two channels I watch shorts because they are educational or deleted content omitted from other videos uploaded that they used to have only accessible via patreon. I don't know if you need ideas for shorts, but as a sw channel, I always enjoy funny game moments or just essay video shorts. I hope this year gives you much reward and success

It’s a shame that KZread is such a pain for smaller channels to get the exposure they deserve. I recommend your channel to folks that love the ‘real’ Star Wars from before Disney’s takeover. Personally, I prefer the longer videos over shorts, as I’m also a big nerd and I love to learn more about the original lore and stories from back in the day. I appreciate, and miss the effort that went into them. Since most of the old stuff is shoved aside to be forgotten to ‘make room’ for the new garbage they pump out, it can make it difficult to find. Your channel is perfect for getting the ‘whole picture’ as it was meant to be.

This is why I gave up on long form content and just started streaming more. Shorts getting the push they are, is a bummer. Even though we make shorts, it’s still sad that long form, in depth nerdy content doesn’t get the love it used to. I would love to continue long form content about the Legacy comics but YT absolutely punishes you for it.

Love your long form lore videos, dude. It makes the busywork in SWTOR so much more bearable. I can also put on an hour-long video and listen while working. It helps give me an excuse to be productive while enjoying some Star Wars lore. That said, I usually don't put those videos on right away. I typically take a while to get around to watching it, but when I do, your work never disappoints, and always brightens my day.

I will eagerly await the next Timeline overview. I just finished all the post Endor books and would love an indepth look through it all again.

you could release a short to accompany every long form video, a condensed version of it that leaves out a lot but will advertise the long video, that way people who want to know deeper lore can find your long video on the topic and watch that as well

I hate shorts, I never watch them. I agree I've been saying this for the longest time that it's destroying peoples attention spans.

The thing with Shorts is that they wanna rival with TikTok, but at the same time they are showing ads for TikTok... That doesn´t make real sense... But keep up the good work of your channel!

I've written a lot of star wars fan fiction but now I've started creating my own IPs because like you said it's a tough economy

My advice is split up ur longer 1 hour videos into either 3 20min videos or 6 10 min videos to make the algorithm like it more. Also personally 1 hour videos are a bit intimidating.
