Unfortunately Ryan died 4 years after this video. After a very difficult life, bounced from foster home to foster home, he had finally found accommodation through a support service. The lady who filmed him gave him his own piano. You should know that the wonderful piece of music that he interprets on it is his composition ❤ I hope he has joined God-blessed beings of light and plays for the angels 🙏

He may have lost everything for whatever reason but his heart and soul was beautiful, I am certain that since he touched not only my heart with his music he did everyone else’s even with a wickedly out of tune piano. I have a soft spot for people in their lowest place in life because I watched my dad go through it. He was a baseball player probably would’ve went pro, good at fishing and carpentry/construction. He got into drugs heavily. To people outside they saw an addict but to me I knew he was an awesome guy with multi talents whatever he went through took him off his path. Rip to this man and my dad both ❤️ I hope their new lives are better

Ryan Arcand is a man that changed my life. I listened to him play on Churchill Square when I used to pass on lunch hour and listening to him play this composition always made me cry. To this day, I cry every time I listen to it.😢Despite his struggles, he gave us the best gift he could have and those who were able to see it, which is many, are the fortunate ones. We are all connected with others and his music has proven exactly that. There are people that I know that I do not think of as many times weekly as much as I think of Ryan. He's kind of part of my life for all these years in a very spiritual way and I never stopped telling people about him even after he was gone. Maybe one day I hear him play again, but I am so fortunate that his composition has been reproduced in a clean version for us to access on KZread. Someone needs to approach Gabor Maté and get a deal for his song to be used in documentaries that represent Indigenous populations or similar movies...unless it's already done. Regardless, Ryan still live in many hearts, which is so beautiful. 💖 This composition is called "The Beginning" 🥰

As a musician myself I call on everybody to make and sign a petition to help this amazing talented man in building him a place to live. Please build this man a home, other than he just built intside our hearts. *To create is to live. And to create music is to make others lives better.* EDIT: I met a street guitarist today in my city - Sarajevo. He was half French half Bosnian. He said that you can't make much money as a street musician but the only thing that drives him is the look of some peoples faces when they pass by and hear his melody. The problem is that most people don't appreciate his hard work and effort. There are too many discouraged talents on our streets and too many anti-talents on tv, radio charts and internet. I also took a few shots of this man which I posted on my channel.

"Signing a petition" is one thing, but who'll actually pay for it? I do wish him to turn his life around in a positive manner, but whoever wants to help him give money, NOT sign some piss weak, cheap "petitions".

Errol Flynn Personally I can't give him money because I don't own a bank account nor I live anywhere near him. Im suprised how people who have heard or seen him in person didn't give him some money (or maybe they did). If I knew him personally or even lived near his performance areas I would donate money or raise awareness...

Guitar is life I live in the same city as him but I haven't gone to look for him but I think that this song is amazing and he deserves better for sure. I'd like to see him be able to record this song and more.

Someone in his life taught him that special talent to play the piano. Wish his life could have been as special.

He never had a beautiful childhood, he went from one foster home to another. At 13, he ran away and since that time, he was homeless until he died.

Society has led him to be struggling like this. He was once more comfortable. Always gifted with beautiful music in his Soul.

The melody sounds beautiful, because he plays with all his heart, now I understand what grief and pain these people live in, how their soul is painful but beautiful !!! ❤️❤️🍀🍀🙏🙏

Amd then at about 1:25 the tone goes dark that to me it felt as if it was a darkness that was both terrifying but in the same vane extremely pleasant. As if saying yes I'm a lost soul but I'm still grounded in that I know wat little I need to be happy.

He already was a musical genius, nobody can guarantee how someone life will turn out no matter their upbringing. Misfortune does not discriminates. But yes he could definitely be better taken care of to say the least

This made me cry! So beautiful and so bitter sweet. Here I am privileged to live in an apartment and I can’t play OneNote of music. Here is someone with. So much talent that was undiscovered. HE WROTE THAT BEAUTIFUL MELODY!!! How awesome! And I hope to this day that he is doing well, and I wish I could tell him how much he has touched my heart. I posted my texts without reading any other comments and I’m very saddened to hear that he has passed.
