I saw him playing at Kazan State Big Concert Hall (Russia). It's no stadium, but it's a big beautiful place :) He came on stage and communicated with the audience as if we all were in some small room having intimate but simple conversation. Amazing feeling. And after the perfomance there was a line of people who wanted to thank him in person. He gave a hug to almost everyone :) Some unique man. With some unique understanding of the world. What I was trying to say - he got his audience. From some point of view, it's good that he's not THAT popular. Although, maybe the world would be a better place if he were.

That is one of the reasons why many artists have no long love relationship. Women moved by a man's wordless performance and then automatically project a lot of fancy on that man. But while the man opening his mouth, what he talks may not fit what those female fans think about him. I'm not talking about Estas Tonne the great artist. However, this is just the fact that many "attractive but seldom speak" artists face. Too much misunderstanding in it.

I see him as an old soul. He's got the eyes of wisdom of a thousand years. The eyes that have seen and lived the world at its darkest, the hunger, famine, violence, hatred, discrimination - yet he's also seen the world at its best, in all its compassion and love. He's given up on conforming to the world of working for material posessions, like some fancy ferrari or a condo like everyone else behind him seem to work for, to get richer. To him, material posessions mean nothing because they have no lasting meaning because in the end of this short life on earth, what truly matters, is that you follow your passion, that you help those in need, how much love you give to others, and to live truly happy with what you have. you know, spiritually speaking. much respect

'Just a weed smoker' couldn't make a name for himself to the world like Estas does today, performing live in front of respecting people, all the while not letting material falacy and ego blind him from following his passion and enjoy life in the moment in nature with his guitar. The man is a musical genius and definately has the skills to excel his career further to rake him serious money, but nope. Money doesn't bring you lasting happiness. Money is just paper. Estas is a man who follows his passion, and i dont think anyone who is 'just a weed smoker' can do what Estas did and is still doing.

It's breathtaking to see the way music passes through this man and expresses itself on the instrument. His hands are like doves that fly over the ropes😊❤

Eugene Jefferson umh! No actually I recognize that he's good as a lot of good guitar players out there, but that's not relevant, what it's really important here is the feeling that he gives to the song, and that's complicated to find in industry!

this is what u get when piles of talent,emotion,skills,years of commitment combined together

He is so talented! My dad legit said, "hey, come see this guy who looks like Jesus play the guitar" lol. I have never been happier than when he showed me this. I listen to this song all the time. Very talented man and hope to hear more songs in the future.

Masterpiece, I can feel his soul was on fire. Deeply touched by it.

8 years ago I I cried iwatched this then I was inspired to learn guitar. Happy and proud to say I learn nothing.

i think you could be able to play the first part in 6 months/about a year. the hardest thing is the right hand because he's fingerstyling it + flamenco/classical finger picking idk how is it called. 2nd hard thing, the masterpiece is fucking 9 minutes long just imagine reading the tabs and all the stuff. now i have seen a lot of people be like "god skill he composed this". this ain't god skill. i just think its the masterpiece of his life and he has taken the time to write it. he didn't write it in a week for sure. I can write in all humility really good pieces (which are clearly not this one) with 11 years/12 years of playing the guitar. He is 46 so he was 36 when he played this he maybe had 22 years of guitar in the fingers. finally id say that its clearly not skill he just is a prodigy because even if i played my entire life, i would never be able to write something like that. I think i would be able to write the first minute of guitar if i am inspired as hell. It's like Marcin Patrzałek, it's like Koji Kondo which composes music....

Virtuous musicians don't write their music down (or at least not necessarily), they can play it by feeling the melody and chords. It's hard to discribe and I am sure I am worlds behind him even after playing the piano for over 28 years, but I just imagine and sort-of listen to the melody in my head and then just play what I "hear" myself...

That was supremely poetic.

He held a large crowd dead still in awe, he has TRULY mastered guitar IMO. He no longer has to mentally instruct the guitar, he feels and the guitar responds.
