05:25 The lady in pink is so moved she wipes some tears away. Imagine being locked in the mundaneness of travelling, and suddenly a magical maestro manages to captivate and enthrall you, and injects serenity and a warm smile on your face, thus making your journey that much better
i’m so jealous of people who can play piano because you can show off your skills so subtly, like, oh there’s a piano here i’ll tap out a fun song. but with any other instrument it’s like HERE I’LL JUST WHIP OUT MY VIOLA or GOOD THING I BROUGHT MY FRENCH HORN HERE WITH ME

It's actually pretty inconvenient, because you can be staying in a Hotel (example), and have nothing to play. With a Violin, Guitar, etc. You can just take it with you, you can't take a piano with you, but I see where you are coming from!

Music is the universal language... music doesn't necessarily have to contain words, it's the sounds that make music truely beautiful. Before lyrics were even considered for music people just listened to the music and just related it to their emotions and lives... The Four Seasons by Vivaldi which is more famous and recognised than Für Elise gave you the feeling of each season. It's a tad hard to explain unless you do listen to music that contains and doesn't contain lyrics. Music can give off emotions, in Vivaldi's case it is an emotion associated with each season.

Ah, Für Elise (there actually is an umlaut above the u, if you haven't learned multiple languages off /r/languagelearning like me). I listen to this song and become euphoric. This brings back so many beautiful memories. Opened a gateway to the past just through music. If music isn't magic then I don't know what is.
The smiles of the audience say it all. How very lucky they all are to witness such a great pianist! Amazing! 🙂
6 years after, still the king

I love the fact you can see the joy on his face while playing. When the pianist is so into it that their whole body moves with the notes? that's awesome and.. It's enchanting experiencing it.
probably hundred times already rewatching this beautiful music before i go sleep...
